I would definitely say he is our next best QB and if Silvers isn't 100% then he would be MY choice. He has always done ok when in but the passing game suffers.

in defense of Brandon and Dallas, Pruitt was not playing against MSU first team - but Pruitt keeps a defense honest with his ability to run I like Pruitt starting to give Brandon a rest
Our offense can't seem to get the deep ball down the middle/seams even after we hit a few deep balls on the edge - hopefully a run game with back and qb along with passes on the edge get us that deep ball in the middle - if would get rolling - this defense has a chance to really shut some people down - especially those that rely on the run game
I like what I saw yesterday outside of the first 5 minutes of the game

You got that right and there are multiple reasons why but Pruitt doesn't seem to have Silvers height and I understand he bails on his progressions which has held him back from playing more but I do like his mobility and willingness to keep the ball.

With those oxen bailing in from the left front, if anybody bails i like DP's chances best. 1) Silvers probably out for the next one. Not a quick, progressive reader anyhow. 2) Dallas forces the ball into tight coverages, suffers predictable interceptions. Don't like his odds if he has to bail and run it. 3) That eliminates all except Dontreal??

Pruitt starts and will do better than Tidwell. The one bright spot and this is really trying to be positive on the poor QB play is that kids like that Sawyer Smith kid from Florida that has committed to TROY, must be licking their chops thinking they might have a shot at playing if they come to TROY next year.

Pruitt is not just a running qb. He deadly accurate on downfield throws. He hasn't been given much of a chance except in mop up duty.
As for the Georgia game, well, go back and look closely... Pucks them apart on the first drive, 3 straight running plays at the 10 and a missed field goal... And probably 7-8 drops.
He's got the better more accurate arm than any of them... He's a proven winner...
If he gets a chance to start a conference game and play... You guys will be wondering why he hasn't always started.
Watch the video and watch him throw down field

Problem he had last year was threw the ball to hard on short routes. I believe that was a issue they worked on with him. I like his mobility and arm, I just hope he holds up on some hits because he us not that big.

I can see that being a problem... A lot of those drops against Georgia were short passes
His only 2 significant playing stints were against Georgia and msu... I'm not one to harp on how great the SEC is, but both of these teams are significantly stronger than any other on troy's schedule... Just be nice if he got a fair shake in a conference game from start to finish
Considering he hasn't thrown a ball in a game all year, I thought he did pretty good against msu

No he's not big... It's a concern... After seeing that last hit in the state game, it shows
