It's a scary road to go down... We all thought Pruitt was the save all a year ago and the coaches started using him more but it didn't really help much

I think with some of out struggles (line play, inconsistent WRs, etc) ... it's clear he gives us our best chance to move the ball on offense. If the defense has to be concerned about a QB running, they have to keep someone in to "spy" him. That means there's more room in secondary, etc. Also, helps the line a great deal (defenders have to stay in their lanes). I believe he's earned the chance to start ... and it gives us best chance to win some games this season!
Defense overall improvement has been the best story. Even though they scored 45 ... we stopped the run all day. Never like to lose, but I'm encouraged by the way they kept fighting! Ready for Idaho!!

No. Silvers is the starter and I fully expect it to stay that way...though, if I had my druthers...

We all thought Pruitt was the save all a year ago and the coaches started using him more but it didn't really help much I agree that it is somewhat frightening but we don't have an offensive identity with Silvers right now. I agree with others as well, that we need a double threat quarterback to keep defenses honest. At this point, what do we have to lose giving him the shot at running this offense that he earned tonight.

This happened last year after the Georgia game and Pruitt never really showed much. I can see him getting the start this year though. Hopefully after a year of being in the program he is ready to take the reigns.

Last couple of years ... even if the offense put up lots of points, we had hard time slowing the other guys down!

You bet, the OL lets him get destroyed back there. It's hard to be "tough" and stay in the pocket when you know you are fixing to get decappatated! Well, I guess we know why #2 QB has not started. We are just not very good on the offensive line or at QB but the first problem helps the second occurs!

Well, hopefully our O line getting run over will be kept to a minimum since the OOC is mercifully over...Douglas had another good night against a big school. Troy got a gem late in the process with this young man from North Alabama.

Troy got a gem late in the process with this young man from North Alabama. I think we will see a vast improvement in recruiting under NB! He has folks out there beating bushes. To get the QB from Pensacola to switch from UCF to Troy is big. troyset has a son at UCF and he can tell you that they don't want for anything in what they can offer athletes.
