Troy vs South Alabama 10.3.15 • 6PM • Veterans Memorial Stadium • ESPN3 Projected Line: South Alabama -7
•••
I'm more excited about this week than I've been in a while. Beat the hell out of South!!! What everyone's thoughts on this matchup? Vic Koenning & Co. have looked good so far and Neal Brown's Air Raid could have a field day against a defense that returns one starter from last season. Our redshirt "cheerleaders" and what should be a great student section could be a big factor in this game.
BOTH AUBURN AND ALABAMA HAVE EARLY KICKOFFS! Alabama plays at Georgia at 2:30 and Auburn plays vs San Jose State at 3:00. We play at 6:00.

Troy has moved to a 4 point favorite now.
This weekend cant get here soon enough, this game in my opinion will set the tone for our season. The team will be excited and I hope we show up in BIG numbers to show our support.
On another note...Anyone notice the scores in the SBC this weekend? Its seeming like a big down year for the league. A down year and a Troy in rebuilding mode could = Big success in 2015....

I miss the old look alike threads from the GTT days. Those were hilarious.

I miss the old look alike threads from the GTT days. Those were hilarious. Those are appearing on Twitter now, courtesy of the grand ol' dame Veterans Memorial Stadium. You can follow the girl at @homeoftroyfb. She's already putting the word on South, I'm sure the doppleganger posts are soon to come.

Jag fan here looking forward to the game on Saturday. Not staying overnight, but will drive up early and possibly tailgate. Looking for a cool destination (close to the stadium) to catch some of the 'Bama v. UGA game before kickoff. Need info on parking. Last time (when we lost in the heartbreaker!) we parked at Charles Henderson and walked. Thanks in advance for the info!
P.S. Appreciate rule #3....Hahahaha

Charles Henderson is a good place to park. Most of the tail gating occurs on the south end of the stadium and along University Avenue.

The BEST tailgating occurs next to the Armory, in the Alumni House Backyard!! Of course I'm a bit biased, but still believe it to be the best, and you welcome to join us!!
