Not going to get into the comparison game, as CR hard to beat in the early years, and Levi type QB is my favorite and had he been the starter for 3+ years I think not many could touch his numbers. Even Levi was not perfect [for this offense]. Sometimes he was very accurate but still not accurate enough. In this offense, we need a mobile QB or someone with a Colt Brannon-type accuracy and lots of targets. I like Silvers' mobility. (Our brand new QB commit is even more mobile and is actually the type we need in this offense).

We can use a smaller lineman, smaller quicker backs, a mobil qb and small fast receivers. Jmo but that seems easier to recruit also???

That seems to be the opposite of what NB says they want...

That seems to be the opposite of what NB says they want... If we can find the right set up I'm all for it. Just a observation I made. It's always difficult to find great pure passers that get overlooked. Not impossible but difficult

Small linemen won't work in this league. That's part of why MTSU was good, but could never win a championship.

Dion Small and Chris Jamison were undersized but were a couple of the better linemen we've had in the System...

Tyler Clark was the best one we have had. 6'1 275, a walk-on, played and started as a true freshman, 2 time 1st team all-sun belt at two different positions (guard and center) started 46 straight games

Both went down. WHO stepped in and set all-time Troy passing records in just a season and a half??? WHO was OC?? WHO was head coach? Why was Levi NOT the starter that season?? Pray tell.

If you want facts, ask one of those you mentioned...if you want opinions, well, you've come to the right place. Which is it gonna be?
