This game was 44-9 very late. That's outstanding work. We played a team that is much better than Abilene from last year and is an FCS playoff caliber team. It's safe to say we are much further along than we were this time last year. The energy and excitement from the players sideline was great. I thought we performed well defensively, but could stand for improvement on offense and special teams. We got better this week and added another brick to the wall.

Fantastic win. This is a team that took Vandy down to the wire last year (21-20 loss) and several other good wins.
No doubt in my mind we are better. The energy on the sidelines is great to see. I didn't even mind the excessive celebration penalty (BS penalty if you ask me anyway) Coach Brown and staff has things going in the right direction for certain. Brick by brick!

Great Game Experience. The side line energy was great. We are a much better team than last year......Moving in the right direction......We need to work on some things (Offense)........Thanks coaching staff.

When you play an inferior team you beat them and leave no doubt. The numbers are necessarily pretty, but that's what you get when you rebuild.
Great day to be a Trojan!!

Let every game be its own measurement. TROY and GSU lost to a common foe in UGA last season...66-0 and 55-9, respectively. The measuring stick is the present, the past has already been written. Will CSU be a playoff team this season? Will TROY lose 11 games this season? Will Whiskey trounce the Trojans...or will the #MenOfTroy pull the big upset of the NB era? That's why they play the games...

Unfortunately it looks like Chunn is out for a while if not the season. We can't afford to lose any depth that we have.

My Post Game Thoughts, Hmmmm
- the weather was nice. I actually got a little chilly late in the 4th which happens never on a south Alabama September evening - the energy is the stadium was great - the energy on our sideline was amazing - Nice to see the expanded student section was fully utilized in the first half and somewhat in the second half. - good improvement in player self discipline. Saw enough provoking by CSU to assume that was part of their game plan. - our defense now uses their arms when tackling, big improvement! - the souvenir cups did not smell bad

I hope the break isn't to bad. A buddy of mine broke his clavicle on one of our mountain bike rides. Tore the ligaments under it and they had to put a plate in with four permanent screws to hold it together. I hope his isn't as serious. Hate to see any player get injured but Chunn from everything I have heard is a fine young man, wishing him a full and speedy recovery.

I work in surgery... Clavicular surgery is fairly rare. But a fairly simple surgery.
But ya he would likely be out for the year.

Doubt he'll play against South Alabama, but I have 110% faith in Andre Flakes and Josh Anderson to get the job done behind Burkes. Just one more thing for teams to prepare for and more chances for younger guys to get reps.

A few years ago I think we had a linebacker miss only 3 weeks till came back on fourth week.....Basically if the bone is still in the skin clavicular surgery is hardly ever done.

Love the rap music during breaks and before kickoffs. Keeps a buzz in the stadium during prolonged play stoppages.

Was just thinking about the situation that involved a linebacker a few years back. He came back after 3 or 4 games from a broken clavicle.
