After half of the spring over with and setting for three hours looking out at both the offense and defense. The offense looks like they can complete this up coming season. With that said our defense needs help on the line. From what I am seeing Goshen has not been at practice but two or three times this Spring. Slater looks good and we will have Roberts coming back , but D tackle look bad. We really need help in that area. Hope it gets better

Just from a roster standpoint, a couple of the guys came in as DEs, were moved to DT, and now have been moved back to DE...for the spring...may or may not be permanent. Ideally, you'd like to have all-hands-on-deck in the trenches, but there are a couple of kids that are coming in the fall that may be thrown into the fire when they arrive in the summer. Assignment vs reads on the D line should be beneficial to early playing time.

Dang Ho, you resurrected that memory again. :-( Might be the worse called 4th quarter in the history of dear ol' Troy Normal, err Troy State College, err Troy State University, err Troy University. It was months before I quit fumeing. Love Coach Brown but that was one HORRIBLE execution on the part of an offensive coordinator. The ONLY chance LSU had that day was for us to do exactly what we did! How could he not realize the clock was his friend? That question will linger through history. What a victory that would have been!

He has been putting the QB under center in redzone drills...that's got to make up for it, right?

However, I choose not to dwell on mistakes of the past, but to focus on the bright future that lies ahead.

I have a gut feeling under his leadership we will be back in that position and bet we see a lesson learned.

That was his first year as a OC 2008 Can't expect him to be perfect All he needed was to call a few runs. hell, just tell the QB to run around and fall down.

Not like it use to but there is the memory that lurks and the hope that HE learned from that experience as well!
