I plan to bring a group (10+) to a Saturday evening baseball game. It will be kind of a dad/son event and we want to make an afternoon of it. My question; is the area beyond the outfield fence available on first come first serve basis or is it reserved as Tailgate Terrace like for football games? Is tailgating conducted along University like during football season? I've been to baseball games before, but it's always been a park and walk in event. Thanks for the info, it'll help as I make plans.

The outfield is a first come first serve basis. The only other tailgating that goes on is in the parking lot behind the tower. We have a group that tailgates there for all Saturday games.

We try to get out and grill in left/left center about once a month. If you can get out there about 30 minutes early you should have your pick of spots. I think the folks in center pretty much have that spot taken all year but the rest of the fence is normally very available add long as you get there early. I am getting excited! Can't wait for baseball season top get here

I think it's great that people are tailgating at baseball. I'm sure the players appreciate the show of support and it brings fans together. I love baseball. Played 4 years in HS and it was my first love but Clint Eastwood made a movie about me a couple years ago called " Trouble With The Curve" lol

Doubles Alley is locked down, but they are a fun group of fellas to interact with. Our group is usually in straightaway left. We don't always have a grill, but we never go to a game without party favors on ice. Stop by The Dream's Left Field Lounge anytime you want.
