Troy won its third straight, defeating Western Kentucky 32-26 to improve to 5-3 (3-1 in the Sun Belt Conference) this past Saturday. Now, the Trojans will have a short week as they prepare for their first of two-straight Thursday night matchups when they entertainment Louisiana-Monroe at Veterans Memorial Stadium. Their game against the Warhawks 4-4 (2-1), coming off a 38-10 victory at Veterans Memorial Stadium against winless Georgia State, kicks off at 6:30 p.m. "Looking forward to the game. We do have a short turnaround. We will not be able to hit very much in practice this week," coach Larry Blakeney said at the Trojans' weekly press conference today. "Very physical game we just left. So, I'm looking forward to preparation." Troy defensive coordinator Wayne Bolt will also have an unexpected challenge before him in the days leading up to the contest. ( Full Article)
