Paid Attendance - Tickets paid for, whether they are used or not. Number used to meet NCAA attendance requirements. We're gonna need a lawyer. Also on the Georgia Southern stuff, great fan base, but the sign on the field was a little much (IMO). I like non-handsitting fans. What sign on the field? Almost went to Southern but Erk Russell scared me to desth. He actually wasn't like that but he was intimidating to meet

The banner in the first pic. I seem to recall a pic from Twitter post game with fans posing with it on the field (could be wrong there). Just a little much for my taste.

Yeah this is the one I was thinking of: I don't see a problem with it. The GA Southern faithful had been talking about taking over the stadium for weeks before the game. This was taken after the game, down on the field. They wanted to prove they could get more of their fans into the game than GA State could bring, and they may have done that -- on GA State's home field. They're not really rivals, but it's like us and USA. If we took more people to the game than they did, we'd revel in it and rub their noses in it. Especially if we beat them in their own stadium with more of our people there than theirs. If someone got their feelings hurt, they're too thin skinned. If anything this should motivate State to do better and get their fans more involved somehow. It may also be good for both programs if they can get a sort of in state rivalry going, to motivate people to go to the games.

I don't know if we'd see Troy cheerleaders and players with a sign like that, but maybe. I just didn't care for the sign.

What stadium woukd we want to claim? Legion field? smiley-laughing001 mobile? ULM? homershake We have put in a claim at some recent UAB games - obviously not this year - and I don't remember seeing signs. The closes we came was a Facebook event promoting taking more fans to Birmingham than UAB. But yeah, if we won Legion of Doom Field, we'd just give it back on our way out.

As someone else said, you have to understand the politics behind the GSU-GSU game. To start a football team in 2010 and immediately slap "GSU" on your football helmets as if there's not another school in the same state that's been playing great football for 30 years. Payback's a B.

The Sunbelt will be zero help with that one. See: "Louisiana" Lafayette and ULM.

As far as I am concerned tht Dumpster fire program from Altanta can have the U. Not that they earned it but just for the fact that other may not get our two programs mixed up. Now it is just a case of rubbing ther noses in it.
