I have never been to the tailgate at the alumni house. I usually tailgate on campus. I'm thinking of going to the alumni house instead. I have a 7 year old daughter that would be interested in hanging with kids her age. Are there kids at the tailgate? What's the food situation? Any experience info would be appreciated.

Official alumni tailgate out front...party tailgate in the back. Kids are always welcome. Surf Report: Minimal (ankle high or less) surf. Semi glassy in the morning with WNW winds less than 5mph. Light sideshore texture conditions for the afternoon with the winds shifting ENE 5-10mph. The high will be 81 degrees and the low will be 71 degrees. Chance of rain 0%.

We are in the back yard normally with several kids. I will likely be by the grill and if not just ask for Hemi or Brian. Come on by and have a good time.

Just be on the lookout, spontaneous sword/light saber duels are known to break out among the youngins at any time.

The Alumni tailgate for Saturday's game will start at 11:00 a.m. and will end at 1:00 p.m. Homecoming is always a big day for those tailgating at the Alumni house, so we should be expecting a big crowd. There will be 3 reunions taking place Saturday at the Alumni house during tailgate hours, the Melvin Lucas Baseball Chapter Reunion, the Clipson Chapter reunion, and the 1964 Football team - 50th year Reunion. Hooks BBQ is on the menu and there will be plenty of drinks (Coke, water, beer, etc.) tailgate is free to all active alumni members and $5 for guests. It's a great atmosphere for any Troy alum looking to have a good time. Bring your kids, family and friends. Let me know if you have any other questions.
