ULL - 925,000 ASU - 700,000 Ga St - 550,000 Troy - 500,000 App St - 500,000 Ga So - 500,000 NMSU - 500,000 USA - 425,000 Idaho - 425,000 Texas St - 400,000 ULM - 400,000
(Figures should be accurate. Close enough for government work though)
Ole Troy is within range of everyone in the conference except ULL. I see us being able to get a very good coach next year. Pull the right lever JH !

Edited OP. Troy could get a younger more energetic Coach from I-AA that has been a proven winner that understands what it takes to win without SEC type facilities Now, with what we pay currently. Our current pay is within range and could bump it up and be near the top.

Hemi I am not calling you poor, I am poking fun because you fundraise on here and one of your tactics is to remind us we are poor. Keep it up though cause I've donated after being reminded by one of your posts.

I agree, an upgrade in coordinators and other coaches salaries is much needed.

Ok so, $500,000 in Troy like $5,000,000 anywhere else. Everyone know that for fact. Everything cheap in Pike County except Crowe's Nugget meal with extra sauce. Either that extra sauce cost $4 or price for meal deal waaaaay out of control. What "Cost of Inflation" Index Jimmy use? This not Zimbabwe, cost of Nugget dinner not should cost $14.99.

Ok, so we offer $x and then we can sweeten the offer with Crowe's and some Sisters too. I may be willing to let the new guy swim in my pool sometimes. I mean, not just whenever he wants though but within reason. And he'd have to call ahead, no drop-boy's.

I'll bet any new guy in the head coach position would want his own guys as assistants then their salaries have to be bumped as well. It's time for our President to stop thinking so much about Troy in Asia, etc and concentrate on Troy In Alabama. Confucius say, "take care of own house or find self homeless".....or something like that!

I agree on the Asia stuff and imo the international student program has gotten out of control. We have 10% of our Troy campus from overseas and I can bet they are getting college for free or next to nothing. Plus that's 10% that go back home that probably never give a dime to Troy. It's great what they have done with Bibb Graves and the Asian connections for our business program but it's time to concentrate on Troy not Taiwan.

I still like the idea of a Proven FCS winning HC. You know what your getting. I woukd have loved to have gotten the coach Georgia Southern hired. Proven winner at Sam Houston State. Took them several times to the FCS championship game. Can't remember if they ever won it because they usually went up against NDSU

(Think >> Sisters with Famous, "Nanner Pudding!") That'll get their attention every time! Let's tie the nanner pudding to wins and losses, like a bonus. I win = 1 bowl of nanner pudding. Win the Belt and a bowl game = a whole pan! We could go ahead and start with our current coach, for some real incentive to go out on a positive note.
