OK so, since it obvious our facility is dragging TMTDM into the bowels of he!!, Mr. Ho get to think and that trouble.
Ok so, he check it out - only ONE, ONE Sunbelt team has completed End Zone House - that SWTexas. Hillbillies have had one for 20 years. SWLa just throw dirt around for photo-op - that stadium is an absolute DUMP. NELa conveniently announce new facility for TV game - and they raise $3 million which give them circus tent with VCRs. GaSouth has had one, but it weak - their stadium has been updated. UAB-Atlanta is a joke. NEArk has a nice video but they announce new End Zone House like 7 years ago.
On side note, Old South Missisiissiisppi has gigantic End Zone House and they like 2-58 over last 3 year.
OK so, Mr. Ho got thinking about TMTDM always copying everybody else. We not have one original thought ever - other than opening campus in Phenom Pen. So we copy everybody again and build SQUARE, RED BRICK non-descript End Zone House.
But is there other option? Instead of throwing $35-25-45 million at copy-cat End Zone House, what if we threw $35-25-45 million at stadium upgrade that incorporated some the things LB been crying about for three year? Plus, Mr. Ho like horseshoe. We have base, so we not have to build new stadium.
What about enhancing the fan experience? Whatever happen to us? You want recruits? Fill up the stadium. How you fill up stadium? Win and/or make fan experience unique.
Dear Leader pretend he all international, but nothing on campus very international looking except international flags. With new lightweight material and creative lighting effect, we could do something spectacular-including fancy new locker rook and fancy new big office for Ed Orgeron. How about chairback seats for home side? How about covering up stands?
Baylor not have End Zone House and they score like 75 point per game these day. Their stadium only hold 45,000 too.
Creative lighting key to upgrade. Not saying we build Bird's Nest, but outside structure not too complicated or costly. It all look fancy because of lights.
Unique design, glass, lighting and amenities is what Mr. Ho look for, but he know he get same old copy-cat, square brick building that only Head Coach and player see. Meanwhile we sit out in the rain and cold and stand in line for warm beer and toilets that don't flush.
Hong Kong Stadium old and only hold 40,000, but they throw this roof on it to make it loud and awesome. Maybe we play home game here since we have campus there. Hong Kong is best city on earth.
