This is literaly the dumbist $hit I have ever heard. We are 0-4 and going to probably going to go 0-12 and the folks here that like to put themselves on a pedestal are talking real fan bs. Give me a flippin break. Folks are mad and dang sure should be. If you attend 1 or 12 games you still have a voice and can put on a troy hat in the morning just as good as anyone else.
More changes need to be made with the "who is the best trojan" side of our fanbase than need to be made on the staff. DT84 sure hopes to see both soon.
Football is a game of W's and L's

No. It is very difficult based on that criteria.

Football is a game of W's and L's I definitely agree with this, and it's one of the most off-putting aspects of the Blue Skies division on the board. I've said that before, of course. I don't make it to all the games these days. I am right here next to FSU, where I got my professional degree, and where they are playing some high-level football (or, last night against Clemson - some very stressful-but-ultimately-victorious football) these days. It is a LOT cheaper to go to FSU games and takes a lot less time, so that I can actually do other things with my weekends than just watch football. That said, I have always been to a couple TROY games every year since I graduated. Right now it looks like my next visit will be on HC. I used to have season tickets in the bench-backs, but "real life" in another state found me unable to use them to a degree commensurate with their cost. And let's face it, there is no scarcity of tickets in TROY where, during an election year like this one, you can half the time find political aides outside the stadium literally try to GIVE AWAY GA tix. I've always got a kick out of the "no true fan" fallacy because, on a board where opinionated people are so-often derided as "key board coaches" and "kool-aid drinkers" the definition of "true fan" is no definition at all. Everybody's definition is different. For me, I am a "true" TROY fan because I wear their colors proudly (and purchase their merchandise), always make it to the Vet every year, actively promote TROY as a great school, and yes, even post of this board. As dt84 alludes to, at a school where so many students and alumni actively pretend they went to 'Bama or Auburn instead of to their alma mater, we need to embrace fans of all devotional levels. ANYBODY who shows an active interest in TROY is a fan in my book. With as many empty seats as there are each game, we need every one we can get. Are some of you "bigger" TROY fans than me? Sure, you take the time and money to go to every game, even traveling to far-flung away games. You bring your RVs and tailgate. Whatever you do. But are you truer fans than me or other folks? No. "Fandom" is a broad umbrella, and even the ficklest of fair-weather fans is still a true fan because he is, well, a fan, albeit a faithless one. It reminds me of the FSU game last night, sitting near the student section, when backup Sean Maguire through an interception in the third quarter. People were screaming obscenities at him and telling him to get off the field. But then we executed a touchdown drive, it was back to booming chants of "SEAN MAGUIRE clap clap clap-clap-clap." Whew, fans can be fickle indeed.
