With all that's going on so far this season, just want to make sure we didn't forget to address this year's souvenir cups. Lol Any thoughts! Any horrible smells? Any catastrophic cup failure that resulted in injury? Anyone able to use a cup to save a drowning puppy? LOL! That post just made my day!

Because he will be friendly on game day but mock me on here and post screen shots of things I say to his Twitter account. I get it. You're pretty good at dishing it out, but can't take it. I have no personal issue with you. At least you're man enough to stand behind your thoughts. I just think you beat a dead horse and then get angry when called on it. To be fair, you have been known to beat a dead horse or two as well. I think we all know where both of you guys stand on the South Florida issue. Why don't you guys just leave each other alone and move on. I'm all for debate but the devolution into the 7th grade "uh uh," "nuh-uh" stuff is tiresome. JMHO.

No UAB on the schedule this season... how do you guys feel about that? It stunk when we kept having to play in Troy on weekdays, keeping UAB fans from traveling to the games. I've heard rumors that the series will pick back up next season, but the invite to the Battle for Atlantis cut into UAB's available dates and we had to honor the home-and-homes we set up with UNC, LSU, Illinois St., USF, and UTC. A few UAB fans will probably say your RPI was killing us, but we scheduled worse RPI teams than Troy the last few years. Best of luck this season! I'm torn. I like playing UAB in hoops but tire of getting beat. I really think Coach Cunningham has us on the right track and I feel we will be able to win a few against the Blazers once the series resumes.

The soccer team improved to 12-5 today with a 3-0 win over Ga. Southern. They also finished their home schedule this year at 9-0. Congrats to the ladies and the coaching staff on a great season up to this point.

Dude I'm just asking a question. So it's a fair weather fan situation? I apologize...I forgot you're just coming over here...There are some carry-over from the Steve Dennis admin, but during the years of the championship run, LB stated that we could go as far as TROY people wanted to go. He also stated, on many occasions that we needed to stay on par with the rest of the league, so far as facilities. It was a great idea to re-do the Trojan Warrior program to facilitate fan support, outside of buying season tickets. With that said, we, as fans, have not done the best job with giving our program what it needs to compete at this level. We sat back and spectated instead of seeing the big picture. Some gave, but a lot of us reaped the benefits of a winning program without the investment. Once AState and the Cajuns, and to a lesser degree, ULM and their fanbases threw money at their problems, they lessened. We have yet to, as a fanbase, to throw the kind of money at our problems as the top of the league has, to date. My comment a while back was to look at this thing as an "employee-owned" business and all of us need to put some beer money in...Like Hemi says, start giving what you can, when you can, however much you can...it'll help. It will also help with a sense of owning our collective responsibility to elevate our program to the heights we want it to be...but, we're only going to go as far as TROY people want to go. No apology necessary but it's appreciated. I hadn't given much thought to the enjoying success without the investment angle. That's a good point

How big of an impact is the lack of on field success having on the "pedestrian" donations? What do you think? How many times does it need to be restated? I'm just asking a question. So it's a fair weather fan situation? How do you change that (getting fans to buy in financially when things aren't going well)?

Isn't that what fan forums are for? Opinions? Some fanbases can handle the sharing of the facts as well, but alas, this one is not one of them. Some can't wait to get some of those misinformation crumbs and share them as if they were gospel. That's why we have more opinions than facts, at this time... Fair enough. Who would you go after?

Was told by the guy over Trojan Warriors that there's a high change the end zone facility will break ground this spring. But it rests in the hands of Hawkins and the board JH said that when he got here that the latest would be 2015 on the ground-breaking. Also listed in the strategic plan as such. With donations being as pedestrian as they are, Our Dear Leader was always going to be Plan B. How big of an impact is the lack of on field success having on the "pedestrian" donations? What do you think?

Is that an opinion or a fact? You know how we roll around here...100% opinion. Isn't that what fan forums are for? Opinions?

It ain't gonna happen so there is no real point in debating it. Tater tot from Akron ain't gonna happen either. Is that an opinion or a fact? IMHO? Common sense. There will be several Power 5 jobs open after this season. If you're Orgeron, would you take a lower-tier Power 5 job or a lower tier SBC job?

Not seen much where we "need" an SEC Asst. I also agree that many don't remember many losing seasons, which tilts perspectives, no doubt. But NO MORE "tilted" than those that DO HAVE emotional ties with one coach or another because they played with them, or were friends/buddies, etc. None of which makes them more qualified than any other. BTW, those of us that ONLY have enjoyed WINNING, have ALL ENJOYED THAT at the DIVISION ONE LEVEL, not at the IAA OR II level that many here played on or remember more vividly. My thoughts, as I have stated, who ever we hire should have HC experience, and at least How was SmackDowna modicum of experience as a DI coach, with DI athletes and challenges. Many of which are different at DI vs DI-aa or DII. I think that's why Campbell makes sense

Just talked with a parent I know. You have no idea how bad things are, this is bordering on anarchy. I'm am embarrassed beyond belief My hope would be that parents wouldn't confide such information to someone that would run to a message board with it. I get where you are coming from but I wouldn't mind hearing the perspective of some of the players' parents

Sorry, it's a broken record, but he can rally the players, get fans excited- and with that increased revenue and recruits better than anyone out there. Make it happen Dear Leader!!!! It ain't gonna happen so there is no real point in debating it. Tater tot from Akron ain't gonna happen either.

Would love Rush as OC. Some here look down their noses at people whose skeletons are no longer in the closet. When I'm wrong I admit it. I would take him as a OC, if nothing else he doesn't put up with players crap I believe that is exactly what is needed, coaches who won't put up with players' crap

like Josh Niblett or Rush Probst? It worked for Houston with Art Briles. Two names....Todd Dodge and Jerry Faust. No HS coaches. Bad enough people think we need to hire a SEC running backs coach with no HC experience let alone some HS coach Fair enough but I would take either as an OC

I think 6-6 is possible, but 4-8 is probably more realistic.jmo 1-11 is now very real. What is worse than a dumpster fire ? Two dumpster fires?

I think today was the worst I have ever seen Troy play (in person that is) since I enrolled as a freshman in 1992. I really hope we can get Campbell in here.
