Theres no evidence of an extension, but I don’t think anyone can say that there’s not enough evidence to get rid of him.Tonight should have proved that to even the staunchest chipdip apologist.18 minutes time of possession,21 yards total rushing, two turnovers, what more needs to be proven? Liberty proved it was the better team on the field tonight. 10 games left to play this seasson, no seer here. We'll be there cheering and enjoying Fall Football. . Just what we do. I’m with you Cornhole

Just an FYI concessions aren’t managed by the athletic department. Is who manages those concessions being managed by the athletic dept. or some other university entity? I'm just curious. I've actually never had too terrible an experience. And I guess long lines are a good issue to have if you're gonna have one. That means there's people in the stadium at least. ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) It’s above the athletic department.

The not running through the T is a COVID thing. Keeping them separated You beat me to the punch. The players are gonna grunt, and sweat on, and probably spit on each other for the next 4 hours and the band members are gonna practically sit in each other's laps while blowing through instruments, and, after the game, the players are gonna go high 5 the portion of the student body still remaining in the stadium (none of which I have a problem with, BTW) but let's make sure we don't let players run with 10 feet of the band, outdoors, in the UV light. None of those people will bump into each other at the Porch either.

Game discussion: At this point with very little to read as far as data. I think we are better than last year. Not sure what that will get me at Sisters for lunch but it is better than my usual over the last two years of ….. we kind of suck at times. Its’s called hope!!!!! Unfortunately Sisters is currently closed on Sundays. Had to go to Julia’s. I left happy.

Neither does it as well as a 20 dollar Casio. I'll wear my trusty Timex, join friends Tailgating around the Vet and enjoy Fall College Football the same way that I have for 60+ years. Can't wait. The comraderie and friendship of my Trojan friends is priceless! Ah the fun. The memories, laughs, stories, food, drink, and just all around good times with friends old and new. Well worth the time and money invested in those Fall weekends. As I’ve stated many times. I’m not going to let 3 hours inside a stadium ruin a fun day with friends and family.

The lack of a true best writer has more to do with the decline of the newspaper business than it does anything to do with Troy.

If you replace the current schedule with teams like UNA, JSU, Samford, etc you will see a lot of money leave Troy.

They didn't go into specifics. From the concept images, it looks like it could be more of a "from the ground up." It could go either way, though. Funny how we all see things differently. To me, the concept drawings look like suites added down the baselines at press box level with a new brick facade enclosing the seating area, covering up the currently visible structural steel. Either way, it looks good. You are correct.

Interesting thought. I don’t know if it ever happens.
I am excited about the upgrades coming to Riddle Pace in the near future.

I don’t think Dr Hawkins wants to leave with the Football program in a shambles ! He has done great for Troy and I am optimistic that he will pass the baton at the end of this year after a 10 win season or he will stay on to see the firs t year of a new coach! Jack Hawkins, Jr. cares about putting his name on as many things as possible before he retires, and being described as "woke" in history books. Some accuracy there.

Well itâs less then 60 days now. We all know our head coach is as dynamic as a table top made of veneer and plain white in color. Yep not. However, as said before when one is distracted by something no matter how IT is (or Young) the non-dynamic will likely give you a non dynamic outcome. His butt is on the line. He should be less distracted. He is the one who chose this career and if it does not improve he is harming his long term professional choice. Perhaps acknowledging that he has decided to visit lakes and streams he is use to. If you remember that song? Anyway I expect his best and maybe that will get him out of here. Long term success is unlikely with someone who chooses to ignore the community as a whole. Here is to a better year and a VALUE added to (The HC we don’t speak of) that makes him have an allure to others. Go Troyâ¦..and here is to age limits on our distractions Are you kind of quoting TLC? I like it!

That 4th and 6 may be the greatest Troy Football play I've ever witnessed. I picked up the guy beside me on the 4th down play.

If there are, they are a small group. There's a twisted standard here among a few though. For 7 years, Mullins up until Sunday had: never won a SBC title, never taken Troy to the postseason, routinely lost the crucial games, and often got whooped by really good teams. But how dare any fans be critical of her results as a coach. Same exact scenario happens with (The HC we don’t speak of) (The HC we don’t speak of) after one season: FIRE HIM! HE SUCKS! HE CHEATED ON HIS WIFE! I HOPE HE LEAVES TOWN! There's a double standard by some people here, simply because they personally like certain coaches. Before just now, Troy has only been to the postseason once. Troy has never won the Sunbelt. Not like there is a long lineage of Troy softball tournament play. The last five years of Coach Davis were overall a struggle. Mullins didnât exactly inherit a well oiled machine. ( (The HC we don’t speak of) did. See the difference). Mullins last three teams have been good. She has improved the program. It is rising. She deserves to continue to coach this team to see how far she can take it. Excellent points.

. Just a word of advice. Possum will be here long after (The HC we don’t speak of) is gone. Youâre supporting Troy, regardless of the wins and losses, not (The HC we don’t speak of). Buy that ticket low. It wonât be there when Neal 2.0 comes to town. That's a solid dose of hopium. I have the best seat in the stadium. Iâm not giving it up because of some bad seasons.

If the ladies can win the first couple of games, I think they’ll put themselves right in the conversation for an at-large. Some parts of the resume are a little weak, so they might have to make the championship game to get the RPI high enough to feel really comfortable. Mullins’ teams have either shown really well or really poorly in the tourney. I think this group has figured out how to close the tight games against great competition more often than not, so I’m optimistic they’ll put on a good run at home. Or they can tank in front of a home crowd again. Not out of it yet, but it doesn't look promising. If Mullins doesn't get Troy to the semifinals or the title game, I think it indicates she has taken this program as far as she can. Ultra-talented and regular-season warriors, it may be time for some fresh ideas. Taking the loss hard for sure. Mullins didn’t make fundamental errors.

My big knock on Mullins is not being able to beat really good teams and falling on our face in the tourney. You mean like today? #3 Troy gets upset by #6 UTA, in our own stadium. We now drop down into the losers bracket. Not only does the loss to UTA likely drop Troy's RPI into 50's, but now we play #9 ULM... who will drop our RPI even further, win or lose. Kiss the NCAA at-large bid goodbye, folks. It's a curse. Shut the F up. All you do is cry.

Me and a group of my friends and their wives were going in together and getting stadium club tickets, but not spending my money to be pissed off at this staff. I can do that for free at home. .
