Do we have any injuries we will have to get over this week and next to be ready for homecoming? According to LB, nothing significant. He thinks most will be ready for homecoming. . That's good news.

Considering they have lost 3 straight and we have lost 5 straight you would think we would be killing to get a win. Hard to call but will be there cheering the team on.

Would really love to see Chunn have a break out game tomorrow. I know we have used him a lot on short yardage plays but would love to see some holes open on second downs for some big yardage. I feel ULM will be looking for us to rely on our passing so let's shake things up

I honestly think the team will step up with an "we have something to prove" attitude
Trojans. 28 ULM. 24

We will have to find a way to stop them on the ground. 408 rushing yards is impressive no matter who you play.

I just like looking forward and being progressive. I grow tired of folks that think "Well, we won some games back in the day doing it X way, so lets do that again." Football and college is different than it was when you fellas were enrolled. The athlete is different. The times are different. The tactics that yall saw as effective may or may not click with this generation of ball players. While some players react well to yelling, screaming, cussing, stricter rules and other "older" ways of doing things, others will tune the coach our entirely. Some players have to be taken to the side and talked to in a calm manner. I trust the coaches know which guys respond to which style. I may be younger than you fellas, but please realize that I am not an idiot when it comes to football. Thanks, and good day. . Dream I respect your opinion and I do appreciate the forum to be able to sound off different opinions and agree to disagree. I know everyone on this board wants the same thing and that is to have more wins than losses. Keep up the passion and also please realize that we may be older but we are not idiots either when it comes to football.

Urine doesn't go well with cornflakes, sir. Try 2% milk instead. I think it will suit your taste palette a little better. No class! Sir, that response is an embarrassment.
I hope Redwaver doesn't acknowledge your ignorance.
. Redwaver might not but I will. Based on your statement Mr Dream you are the one pissing in the cornflakes. So you answer my question with your own admission that you are just full of "P & V". That's piss and vinegar since you might not know what that old saying means. Go Trojans

I toured Ga. Southern when trying to decide on a college to attend. At the time i was there, Statesboro was about like Brundidge. I have heard things have gotten better, but it is still in the middle of nowhere in southern Georgia. Paulson Stadium is a diamond in the rough in the Sun Belt. They moved dirt and expanded their stadium and built new facilities, and the fan base is excited. For those of you that feel facilities have little or nothing to do with success, please do us all a favor and go play two-hand touch with Sherrill Busby. This ain't 1967 anymore. So as a true Trojan supporter you now feel ok with using sarcasm in allinating everyone who respected Busbys accomplishments for our university or anyone not as young as you. Well, I suspect that might just be an era where some of your more successful and donation prone alumni reside. Go get 'um young man. That's what we need more of at Troy disrespecting our own, heavens knows we don't have enough opponents to antagonize us. I pray we get the facilities we need for two reasons. 1. It might improve recruiting and 2. It will end that as an excuse and make folks find another one. Frankly, I don't know if I have read anyone who said they didn't want that facility. What I read was it just might not solve all the problems.....but we shall wait to see. May be that it's just ONE of our problems. You could have made your point without the Busby and 1967 era reference. Just sayin'! . Well said Redwaver. Remember we are the old outdated Trojan fan base according to some on this board. We always need to looking to better ourselves whether it be facilities, scheduling, recruiting. The Trojans on the football field playing should not be the only TEAM. Everybody MUST get involved whether that means $10 or $100,000 donations it all adds to success

Show me the photo when they get off the plane or when they do their version of Trojan Walk at home. Just saw Texas State in Montgomery and every one of them had on the same athletic suit. I believe it is a matter of pride in yourself and in your school as well as disciplined behavior. I think our team could use a little more of all of those. Hmmmm.....pride,discipline, why does our team need more of that ? We have had three straight non-winning seasons and currently are 0-4. We all good. . Yep All is good. Lets not focus on silly outdated things like discipline. Remember you might offend individuals on the board if you don't fall in line and drink their kool aid. I personally think Barry McKnight dresses our team before Trojan walk and Amos cuts their hair. All is good

My .02 worth, if I were Blakney I would approach the players that we at this moment are 0 and 0. Our season starts now, get them focused on the SunBelt games. Forget the first 4 they are history and no way to change that. Start on positive note today and push for win on Saturday. You have to get the teams focus off of what has happened and focused on what we do control. He did that after 0-1, after 0-2, after 0-3, after 0-4..... Did not know that. Back to the drawing board

Just read the below on the website Saturday Down South. Now we are being referred to as the "patsies" of the Sunbelt
In addition to more than three hours of free advertising on the SEC Network, Troy made $900,000 for willingly playing the sacrificial lamb in between South Carolina and Tennessee.
No, there was nothing in the game contract that required Troy (0-4) to look so awful. The Sun Belt Conference patsies have been outscored 186-62 in four games this season and probably will be an underdog next week at Louisiana-Monroe.

Attendance will plummet. We will be lucky to have 10k at home games and thats no lie I cant even get my friends who normally go to games to commit to going to another game. They say they wont step foot in that stadium till Blakeney and staff are gone...Call them fairweather fans but the average Troy fans most likely feels this way. Only TRUE TROJAN fans stay fans win lose or draw!!!!! MY opinion.....if your that way you never were and never will be a TRUE TROY TROJAN FAN!!!! I would hate to tip toe through life to arrive safely at my death!!!! . Would you mind sharing what your definition of a TRUE TROY TROJAN FAN is? Just curious on how you define this. Thanks

Going for it on 4th and 14. I suppose we are treating this game as a scrimmage at this point. . I think Georgia is treating it like a scrimmage

169 rushing yards for GA, -1 for Troy. Ouch! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk . I wonder how Hartwells confidence is feeling now. Pure joke

. Troystet don't try and explain yourself. 99% of the people in this board knew exactly what you meant. Remember never argue with stupidity Never argue with stupidity. Poke at it and make it mad? Oh yes!!!!!!!!! I think I'll have a beer. . Nope just advice from one of us "old school" alums that have learned from experience. Now go have your beer.

Ok let me simplify it. "Most" girls have never played football thus don't understand certain aspects of the game. This girl, lady, woman whatever understands it. Comprende??? . Troystet don't try and explain yourself. 99% of the people in this board knew exactly what you meant. Remember never argue with stupidity

Everyone got onto Larry for blaming it on everyone but himself... he knew we were into him so now he's building up the competition. . He won't have to build up the completion for next week

Well I guess we will be 0-4 after Georgia if that happens. If it does happen, which I can't see happening, it would mean that we have problems bigger than anyone could fathom. This. . So now the big question is does Hartwell have the testicle fortitude to do his job
