Bammers talking about the close games and the loss to Ole miss a team they beat. If you wanna play that game 2007 ULM would want to speak up. Ridiculous if they cant have it all no body can have anything. Troy Trojans State Champs.

And this isn’t the first dig at GUMP U
Coach Blakeney threw one at them in 2007 when they were 6-6 and made a bowl game when TROY at 8-4 did not by saying “No 6-6 team deserves to make a bowl game!” This year ULM beat GUMP U while TROY beat ULM. And that particular year I have no doubt TROY would’ve throttled the GUMPsters

Not to burst anyone’s bubble but IMO trying to show you’re “the best” in the state by building yourself up while putting others down is not the best approach.
Sure, you may get the views and tick some fans off but don’t toot your own horn. Let others do that! Enjoy the 12 win season without having to poke others in the eye. Besides, when you can’t sell out your own stadium for a championship game, that’s embarrassing. I say that as a Troy graduate. Until MANY Troy alumni get more excited about their team and a championship game rather than what’s going on at the two power schools in the state, I think things should be kept in perspective. BTW, I know I’m going to catch a lot of flak from this post.

BTW, I know I’m going to catch a lot of flak from this post. So...let me get this straight...by pointing out that we had the most wins, that is putting down the other teams? Should Auburn feel great about their season? College football is a meritocracy. No participation trophies. Attendance at the SBC was fairly good given the way the tickets and everything were administered. You know what's pretty embarrassing? Not making your championship game and then getting mad because someone dared state how many wins they had.

Comparing a SEC schedule to a SBC schedule is like comparing apples to oranges. Comparing your SBC record to other SBC teams in the state or league and declaring yourself best is accurate. I’m happy Troy finished with a 12 win season but comparing that accomplishment with a team which lost two games with a SEC schedule is not a good comparison.

If we played the teams on this list, I bet we win nearly all of them. We may not win against Bama, because they cheat. Don't underestimate the power of the SunBelt. We play a premier schedule and our conference has many P5 wins.

Do you know that Shaquille O"neil was taller than Michael Jordan? He could be described as bigger basketball player than Jordan. Not saying he is or was a better player. But he certainly was a bigger basketball player.

The logic of the Bama fanbase goes in circles. Same tired arguments. Blah Blah Blah Troy isn't on Alabama's level? Yet FCS teams like Mercer and Austin Peay not to mention other Sun Belt Teams are? Alabama would kill Troy. Then schedule the Trojans. But you're not on Bama's level and round and round we go.

Some of y'all taking this too serious. This is most likely a "tongue-in-cheek" attempt to get UA to consider a game between Troy and UA. Tongue-in-cheek, because the only ones it riles up are the fans, and not the Alabama Athletic Dept, but the idea is to goad the UA fans into calling out the AD to "show those idiots in Troy" who we are. One day, maybe they'll convince their AD to ink a deal to play us, but not in any foreseeable future.

Even if we win, we get more by tormenting them with posts like this. Now beating other sec schools like LSU is great for us fans and our brand.

I’m 100% Trojan. My blood is cardinal. I’m also a college football fan and still have good vision. Alabama would light Troy up like a Christmas tree. Some of y’all need to just say no to drugs. Our offence wouldn’t score double digits. And although our defence is awesome, they got a pretty QB and stable of backs. Some of y’all actually sound as ridiculous as the Bama fans on the call-in shows.

I’ll speak for it because I posted it.
The graphic is pretty simple and straight forward. We won 12 games, which is the best total in the state, which is what the graphic stated. The gray tape part said most wins, which is and will always be the Best in Bama for 2022.
Social media did the rest reading into it for more than what it was.
For those saying it was wrong or little brother or whatever, our job is to promote and celebrate our accomplishments. Why in the world would we not make something proclaiming the most wins in the state? We are recruiting both fans and players on a 24/7/365 basis, something like this moves the needle.
That Tweet has 2.7 million views, 18 K likes and 1500 RT Tulane winning the Cotton Bowl 1.2 million views, 16K likes Alabama winning the Sugar Bowl 250K views, 3300 likes.
That’s why we did it.

First, the tweet is fine, it did its job. Any publicity is usually good publicity. But come on Adam, you weren’t posting it as a fact-driven point. You posted it with the specific reason to obtain the reaction you got. It was divisive. Which is fine by me, but don’t try to bullish!t a bunch of other bullsh!tters on this board.

I can tell you with 100 percent confidence that the intention of the Tweet was fact driven to drive home the point that we had the most wins in the state. We are battling several teams "above our pay grade" as some would like to say for some key players and you better believe that every bit of information like that helps drive home the point. You can believe what you want to about me, and yes, I love to troll as you can tell by a lot of our posts. However, this one was to show OUR success compared to the other FBS teams in the state.
