Penn State offered Tez Johnson. Easier conference. He’ll do ok. Easier conference you say ? You do realize Kent State is a power 5 right?

He has committed to Oregon. I know it’s family but can’t say there wasn’t any tampering during season with Bo telling him to come, cmon now

He has committed to Oregon. I know it’s family but can’t say there wasn’t any tampering during season with Bo telling him to come, cmon now I am actually ok with that tampering. Tez showed he was pretty dang tough and Bo was there obviously at a pretty rough time somewhere in his life. I would even imagine Bo’s parents would be glad to watch both of them. So, in this singular case, whether it be Bo or his folks or anyone associated with the issue: more power to you. Thank u for your service and Godspeed at Oregon.

I think he's a better fit for that offensive style. He'll probably do well.
Tez is made for a quick, high pass offense. Not a big, slobber-knocker pro style offense.

I just hope he's happy out there in the People's Republic of Eugene. It's a very different vibe than what he is used to.

What's interesting is the "trade" that essentially happened in the portal.
We lost 5'10", 150 lb. Tez Johnson... who had 863 receiving yards and averaged 15.4 yards per catch.
We gained 6'3", 210 lb. Landon Parker... who had 803 receiving yards and averaged 20.1 yards per catch.
It's all part of Sumrall's grand scheme.

I'm curious how we are going to use Landon. Could we really see someone at the D-1A level serve as a receiver and punter? I'm excited by his highlight film for sure.

Landon Parker was an FCS All-American as a punter his freshman year. That's impressive.
Our punter this season (Mike Rivers), who was pretty darn good, averaged 42 yards per punt.
Landon Parker averaged 43 yards per punt last season.

I'm with you. If he's able to do it, what an advantage even to the travel roster to have your punter also play another position.

All for tez making this move. Gets to play with his brother, easier on the family and better chance to be seen and make it to the next level. What I’m not okay with is putting in the caption “coming home” that just gives me an icky feeling when student athlete spend majority of their career somewhere and then put that in their post. I could understand if he was from Oregon but come on man Troy should always be your forever home.

Is there any possibility that to be around his brother again? The statement on its service is nonsensical without it meaning being with Bo again? I too will cheer if God has me around in 10 years. I just think it was about Bo. I have no idea where the parents are but I would imagine that this is going to be a good year for them with their kids being together. They may not look like each other very much but being able to play with someone you trust and know very very well would be fun and yes be like being where you belong.
If this goes well for the two of them, like Cornhole said, quite a movie with some obvious compelling aspects.
The first and probably last transfer to another school that I will be pulling for a great deal. I really don’t like the Ducks and yes the politics of the NorthWest states but home is where the heart is and not necessarily an address. Go get ‘em Tez
