Evidently the new leadership of the USFL has no recollection of what made the original USFL and the WFL so popular in this state, draft players with ties to the state! Players that already have some connection and name recognition.
In the initial draft in February, ONE Trojan was drafted, Steven Rowzee by The New Orleans Breakers. The supplemental draft ended today and ONE other Trojan was drafted, Jordan Chunn by the Birmingham Stallions.

I am glad that Chunn and Rowzee can still play.

It is a BIZARRE concept! They are going to be based in Birmingham. When I say, "THEY" ALL teams have arrived in Birmingham and are practicing at four sites in the metro area. ALL games will be played in Birmingham at either Legion Field or Protective Stadium the first season. Here are a couple of links to bring you up to date: www.theusfl.com/www.foxsports.com/stories/usfl/usfl-everything-you-need-to-know
