If we’re willing to dole out Neal Brown-level salary and he’s interested in being a head coach, we have a shot. This would be a good place for a first-time HC.

We should be willing to spend 750k with incentives. I think some of the assistants should have their salaries increased.

When people discuss salary, I know it seems like a lot of money, but you have to commit to the program. Neal made a lot of money, but in return we had a full football stadium. We were paying Fester xyz amount and we had an empty stadium. Which do you think created more revenue? I guarantee we still came out on the positive side when we paid Neal 850K.

Other than some fantasy of fellow posters here, cornhole neither seen nor heard of any interest from DA. Just too many reasons for him to stay where he is.

By the repeated logic, I have a question: Why would he leave the 2018 Raiders to be the Tennessee Vols DC?

To be a DC in the SEC

I get that but why not leave to get HC experience? That’s the intention of the question.

I don't know what Ansley career aspirations are but head of a program is a big step to whatever you want i.e. Chan Gailey. If I remember NB contract was heavy laden with incentives. Start at 800k then 50g for SBC championship 50g for bowl game and win all that and it's close to a cool million

I think somebody asked this question already - Is DA even interested in this job?

We may never know the answer to that question.
