A much better communicator than his predecessor I wish this had come a few weeks earlier but I think Troy is set for this weekend. Coach Weeks is going to be playing with house money and I just don't worry about our D not being fired up to a level that is near their maximum capability.

I hope our new head coach begs this guy to hang on for another year. First of all he will make their lives so much easier and with a better head coach this D might just be top 10 in every area. Good luck coach...............Let's go Brandon!!!! and I do not mean this in any other way than to support you Mr. Hall.

I was very rough on this forum in regards to Coach Hall during his first season. I'm glad that he was able to prove me wrong. Coach Hall has done a fantastic job as DC the past 2 seasons. I hope he stays, but if he doesn't, I think he has a bright future.

I was very critical of Brandon during his first year as DC, but I must say I am impressed. First in how he communicated with energy and confidence as well as his faith!! Second is that he is acting like a head coach and made a decision quickly as to who will call the offensive plays. I bet we won’t see as many screen plays this Saturday!

It was nicer to hear something other than. " I know Sean elliot he is a great coach we are good friends" in Chipese that means We are gonna lose.

I'm curious to know what the feel/response was like in the locker room.
Were the players expecting this? Was (The HC we don’t speak of) (The HC we don’t speak of) expecting this? Did they want (The HC we don’t speak of) (The HC we don’t speak of) gone? Did the players want to wait until after the GSU game this Saturday?

Probably a mix of everything. However, as much as I wanted (The HC we don’t speak of) gone I think the players really liked him. Kinda like that PE teacher I had in 7th grade that would let us dip snuff on the playground.

As to expecting:yes he was told of situations that would bring not getting next year. Maybe not specific to this moment but possible. As to how Players feel. Watch Saturdays game and you will know. I guess it is possible to be fighting for his legacy but more likely if plays well they are playing out of relief and hope along with a belief on the D side in THEIR guy running the show. Postmortem we will know. Things will get out but as a team when adversity hits they clamp down together. Honestly, the most hope I have had for a game this year due to the worst being over.
