The writing is on the wall for (The HC we don’t speak of) (hopefully) Who would you realistically want for our new coach?
Matt Moore- WVU- Was the Co-offensive coordinator with HCNB, got to talk to him several times and came away impressed.
Liam Cohen- UK OC- Iâve watched Kentucky quite a bit lately, and I like their discipline and offensive strategy.
Jon Sumrall- UK- LB/Co-DC- Was my top choice last time, heâll do a complete culture change, which is needed.
Gene Chizik- This is my least favorite option, but hey itâs better than what we have now.

I think another good strategy would be to find a red hot coach in the FCS ranks and bring them up. I'm kind of gun shy about bringing in another SEC coordinator with no head coaching experience. If we really want to find outside the box then we could get Billy Napier who used to coach at Louisiana he is the head coach at Gulf Shores High School or Phillip Rivers (yes, THAT Phillip Rivers) retired from the NFL and is now coaching at St. Michael Catholic in Fairhope.

Poll Who should be our next coach may be debatable. So, we refrain and redefine the question WHO SHOULD NOT BE OUR COACH THE WEEK BEGINNING WITH GEORGIA SOUTHERN PREP? A) Fester B) (The HC we don’t speak of) C) Former offensive coordinator of Auburn (Guru) D) All the above

Stating a fact here: John Grass at Jacksonville State has the same amount of FBS level wins as (The HC we don’t speak of) does this year AND more Power 5 wins than (The HC we don’t speak of) does his entire Troy career.

Derrick Ansley...it's time. Wholeheartedly agree with you. I wanted Derrick during and after his first stint at Alabama when he was a GA. DERRICK BE THE FIT. End the speculations. Al.,Tenn., NFL, Kentucky, Al. Again, and Nick did not want him to go. Ansley has the experience and the mindset that is necessary to get players motivated and bring the program forward, even more forwarder. I believe he is the Dbacks coach with the LA Chargers at present

Let ALL of our former players and ALL of our former assistants get their HC experience somewhere else. Why don't we let them prove they can win like any other hire instead of giving away more on the job training?
I don't care if it's someone that played for Troy. I don't care if it's someone I've met. I don't care what a sweetheart everyone thinks he is. I want someone who has the record to prove he knows how to win and can start the culture change with his introduction speech.
Can't see the other SBC teams? That's because they left us in a cloud of dust! We can either start catching up or get another coach who doesn't know where 1st gear is.

Jeff Lebby (Ole Miss OC)olemisssports.com/sports/football/roster/coaches/jeff-lebby/707Lane Kiffin Is Great, But Rebels OC Jeff Lebby Is Just As Critical to Ole Miss Successwww.si.com/college/olemiss/football/lane-kiffin-is-great-but-rebels-oc-jeff-lebby-is-also-critical-to-ole-miss-successThe man calling the plays in Oxford has made a name for himself in his first two seasons at Ole Miss. Jeff Lebby spent some time as the offensive coordinator at notable programs before joining Kiffin in Oxford for the 2020 season, including Baylor and UCF. Everywhere he's been, however, the pattern has been the same: positive offensive numbers and strong quarterback play. While he was at UCF as the offensive coordinator in 2019, Lebby's unit ranked fifth in total offense, and quarterback Dillon Gabriel threw for 3,653 yards and 29 touchdowns. Once he got to Ole Miss last season, the Rebels were seventh in the country in total offense after playing a conference-only schedule due to COVID-19.
