I love the Vet but they could do a lot to improve it! 1 put TVs in the concession area streaming the game and other games! Clean the bathrooms! My wife says the ladies room is disgusting! More Beer vendors. It is not uncommon to wait in line for a substantial amount of time! Thatβs just a few things!

I counted them and borrowed a few other guys fingers and toes to keep track Possible if you counted players, coaches, refs, training staff, pep band etc lol. Only reason I say that is multiple former players commented on the poor attendance and I would consider the ones who said it as Trojan royalty and two were HOF. Observations I heard listening to different conversations from former players in the stadium club 1) everyone says the Missouri kid is the best qb 2) pass game looks great and/or pass defense looks horrible 3) run game was non existent 4) not a single person likes CL 5) please don't put us in the stadium club at 12:30 and have no drinks or food of any kind. Several players had small kids with them and nothing to drink. They finally brought a cooler at 2 but all it had was alcohol. I know several left early to feed kids. Another grumbling I heard was two HOF players there, good turnout of players from early 70's to around 2014 and the AD was up there and never came over and even said hello. Hawkins did but Brent didn't. Didn't matter to me but I heard it more than once. All in all still a great time and got to eat dinner with my old roommate I hadn't seen in six years. Fall will be interesting P.S. NEZ complex is absolutely stunning inside. No excuses for not winning with these facilities

I did not count the refs. But from the stands I could be off by 4-5. π

Impression of T-Day. Good receiving Corp hopefully Reggie not hurt too bad. D will be good throughout O-line looks more fit Lots of good things QB battle Powell short quick delivery and athletic Watson over all looks back to original form (had a little down turn after concussion ) throws well with not much of a running game Free: good long ball and in this setting hard to tell about any improvement in area he has the hardest time. Pass rush. In this format not able to see if can handle that part of the game. - I was there. I was really impressed by the D-Line. Granted the QB was off limits but, Medina was really disruptive in the backfield. - Disappointed that Chatman (Transfer from FSU) didn't play. Was really wanting to see how he fit it. - Jibunor should be a force moreso this year than years past. - Taiyon Palmer (NCST Transfer) was in there and made a play. He really wasn't challenged and I would have liked to have seen how he was in coverage. - Anyone else feel like Dunlap is an underrated CB or is it just me? - We got some receivers...all I got to say. - The TEs were really involved in the play calling today catching passes. Nothing down the seam. Mostly underneath stuff. Sure hope using them more in the fall is part of the game plan. - Vidal is Vidal. Jamontez ran a lot in between the tackles. BJ looked good when he was in there. Disappointed in the short run game. Couple of 4th and shorts where they didn't convert. - QB play was good. I thought Watson looked slimmer but that maybe because he wasn't wearing the rib protectors. He was mobile. - The Powell kid...I get why everyone is excited about him. I do have some concerns about him though... 1) His size causes him to throw off his backfoot a lot. QB coach will need to work with him to correct that. I don't recall seeing him throw any passes down the middle of the field 15-20 yards. Don't know if that is a concern but would have liked to see him make those passes 2) Maybe he was going through his progressions but he checked down alot.

Just my observation but we have to decide what kind of spread offense we are going to run. I really like having a mobile QB in this offense. Adds a total new dimension for read option and making a play when coverage can cause a sack. If we don't have a mobile qb then tweak it to more of a Mike Leach system for vertical game. This use to drive me nuts when CR was here. Why did we run read option with him? There wasn't a DC from pee wee up that would worry about him running the ball, as a matter of fact they wanted him to run the ball.

How do you feel about his size? My two cents, it concerns me. I feel like the passing game (between the hashes) will suffer with him at the helm. On the other hand, I think being a mobile QB will help with the running game. Thoughts?

On the other hand, I think being a mobile QB will help with the running game. Thoughts? Size is a concern as is arm strength (same could be said for Tom Brady) . None of them are extremely mobile. The problem we have had with qb play is holding the ball to long and being nervous on reads. My point was adjust the offense to suit the talent and not try to get the talent to do something that doesn't suit them. Running extreme uptempo with a highly mobile qb is hell on a defense (think Oregon when Marcus Mariota was there and Texas Tech with Mahomes and even Auburn with Cam). If not then go more Air Raid (Leach and Holngren type) I love up tempo, the faster the better. Just decide what type play calls best suit the talent. I am a firm believer in adapting to talent instead of trying to force something not suited to them
