Tied at the end of the half. ESPN+ Trivia question - how many Super Bowl rings does Troy have?

On the question - 6 I really don't know but I know we had 3 in one year, DeMarcus, the Washington player and maybe Osi or Lawrence again

Very young team but hustling - still can't finish drives but that will come as the season progresses - know its early but I see Kam Woods, Burnett, Miles - all Freshman. 11 is a sophomore. They will get better as the season goes. Should be a fun year - probably lose a good bit of games close or win a good bit close. Either way, will be surprised if we are not competitive.

Not sure about the other 2. Troy has hustled back into the game. Down by 10 after a few minutes in the second half they have taken the lead with Stampley finally finding his 3a.

They didn’t play well, but they found a way and will to win. I love that!

That was a fun one. How about Kam Woods. What a debut for the true freshman!
Can’t do any better than 1-0. Kudos to Coach Cross and staff
The ladies picked up where they finished last season. 1-0 start for them as well

Kam Woods is the real deal. My son played AAU against him and when he signed with Troy, he was like, look out - Troy got a really good one. He also bragged on the Freshman from Montgomery - Duke Miles. Says he is pretty good as well. This team is going to be fun.
Troy was a -6 point underdog - so kudos to them for getting it done.

Play in Super Bowl but not win: Steve McClendon (Pittsburgh lost to Green Bay) Mario Addison (Carolina lost to Denver)

They didn’t play well, but they found a way and will to win. I love that! Takes a while with players that didn't know how to win. It's a trait you teach and coach and I fully expect Cross to instill this.

Interesting season ahead, from all aspects.

Signed with the Jets as a free agent and ended up starting for them at LG for several seasons and then signed with the Bucs and started for them also. His Super Bowl year or the year before he took a hand through the face mask and dislocated his eye socket. Thus the reeason you see pics of him with that dark visor on his face mask. He was tough as nails and should be the first OL inducted into the Troy HOF
