Our program is falling fast. Troy was once the most respected football programs in the Sunbelt Conference.
I must say, the Sunbelt Conference has gotten better and it shows that we have 2 teams in the Top 25 and one receiving votes and that's a great thing for our Conference.
The loses to Georgia State and Georgia Southern only shows that we are not improving. If we had won those games, the postpone game with Costal would have been big for our return to greatness in the Conference and possibly a match up between 2 top Sunbelt Teams.

So in your professional life, I am sure you have heard, "If you present problems, also present solutions." So what do you guys think the solution is? Fire our coach like South Carolina did? From what I am hearing from their fans, they wish it didn't happen because with Covid, recruiting is harder. The solution I would put forward is to let (The HC we don’t speak of) have another season. That may not be popular, but with the way things are going in 2020, I think it would do more harm to make a change. As a fan, I am just going to "Sit back and relax".

Fans rarely have all of the facts leading up to these decisions. There's more to a personnel decision than meets the eye on Saturday afternoons. Just role playing here, but if I were the decision maker at Troy, I'd take the pulse of the players themselves before deciding. But I'd get it done before any recruiting window.

I don't think the difficulty of recruiting after firing (The HC we don’t speak of) outweighs the damage that has already been done and the damage that is yet to be done to the program. Besides, if the admins put in the time and actually get the right coach then recruiting wouldn't be a problem.
It doesn't matter anyway. (The HC we don’t speak of) is going to cry "Covid!" and probably get another year on his contract, because Troy wants to be "woke".

CL will finish his contract, that's a given. In all the time I've been a Troy fan (since I started as a student 1986-present) Troy has only "fired" one coach I can remember and firing him took six seasons and that was Cunningham. So don't expect anything to happen till his contract is up

It was done it a tactful way because of what he had accomplished at Troy.

There are days I want to pry a little bit under the surface of these "Troy is woke" complaints but I'm afraid if I did I'd be fairly disappointed.

What I liked about NB is that he took responsibility ! (The HC we don’t speak of) sounds like a broken record â Iâm proud of these guys , weâve got a special group of guys, very disappointed â. He has said that âCoastal is clicking because they are in their 3 rd year. He likes the direction of this programâ. I would live to see some emotion! He was hired for his offensive background and I think itâs safe to say that his offense has been a roller coaster ride of inconsistency !
