We will have to wait but storm strength and or Depression as it turns could leave east side really bad which plays into Texas State travel etc. still to early but by tomorrow afternoon would likely have to make call on game go or change

The possibilities are still just that possibilities. It would be great to look on Thursday afternoon and make a call but can't do that just 24 hours before. So we will be figuring as of tomorrow nite when this game is being played and that really is conjecture and maybe wrong or right. I just look at that path and kind of think heavy rain for Saturday. All the while I am praying for that storm to diminish as much as it can before it hits anyone. I don't want to but I would gladly take a cancellation over a 4-5 cat storm hitting anyone.

The latest rainfall accumulation projections show 1-2 inches in a band across the central part of the state from Mobil through B'ham toward Chattanooga. The lower edge of that swath cuts across just south of Montgomery. What does that mean for Troy? I'll say 1/2 to 1" of rain, falling over the day Saturday. That is certainly a manageable amount. The storm needs to weaken in the cooler (significantly) waters of the northern Gulf and it needs to track N and NW more so than East. That is the projection and if Delta behaves herself, we should be ok for Saturday. We'l see. I'll wait 'til Norm's last Friday night prognostication before deciding which rain gear to pack.

Norm agrees completely as long as momma nature does not have gas and goes a differing route. I do hate that is any storm

Track continues to move so slightly to the West which puts Cameron and Lake Charles in play again. Prayers for a destruction of this storm

From David Paul, meteorologist WTVY - Dothan
For the Wiregrass, we’ll see a few isolated showers later Thursday, mainly across the southern half of the area, with a few isolated showers Friday. Our best rain chance arrives Saturday midday and into the afternoon, but even then the activity looks scattered. This will not be a big rain-maker for our area and some spots might not see much rain at all. -David
Things are looking up for game time.

My only problem With the video is the tint and darkness——I still don’t know what color we are wearing.

I know I kind of do but maybe just a tad over done for a uniform reveal. Can you see Penn States reveal video : starts off with President Eisenhower sitting at a desk with a photo from Teddy Roosevelt standing with Joe Paterno and unknown face maskless player. All videos after that just say: see 1960 video.

Are we to assume at this point in the week that COVID testing for BOTH teams has been completed and we are good to go on Saturday? I had thought the testing might be done earlier than usual due to the uncertainty related to the weather and the anticipation that Texas State needed to head this way early to avoid Delta impacts.

For those of you that are visually challenged, it's white helmets, cardinal jerseys, cardinal britches, and white cleats. You may have to increase the font size, but that should help with the visuals...

My Dad (RIP) sat through a hurricane for U of F Football game back in his day. His son won't. I see myself with my rain gear, Troy Trojans game tickets and a stadium set saying let’s do this thing.

My Dad (RIP) sat through a hurricane for U of F Football game back in his day. His son won't. My condolences, but does anyone remember the Okie St game? 2007? If you were there, you sat through a piece of a hurricane...A little different from a FL storm, granted...

I don't mean to insult anyone's age, but just remember what Coach talked about last night. These videos are geared toward 17 and 18 year old football players. If they think its cool and you don't, thats fine. These videos arent really for us.
