I think that would be fair and so unlike the NCAA that it scares me. Unusual times call for re-imagining a lot of things, it would seem.

Except won't they have to change the scholarship allotment numbers? 85 won't work with incoming freshman. will it only apply to current seniors? or does everyone get an extra year?

This is my concern as well. A Frosh may not receive a scholarship because a 6th year player already has it.
