It's going to be interesting to see what happens with the scheduling. I'm assuming UMass will remain on the schedule. I would really like to see us schedule UNA, and it also makes sense because they are looking for an away guarantee game.

UAB, USF, BYU, Rice, La Tech... those are just a few of the FBS teams that will be looking for games the same week as us. There should be more than plenty of FCS options if Jones decides to go that route. The Tennessee game will be the tough on to replace, being so late in the season as most schools will have conference matchups that week.

Just guessing, but I'd bet Troy reschedules for close venues, less travel costs, maybe no/limited overnights. Could be a lean year.

I agree with Cornhole ... less than 200 miles from Troy: UAB (C-USA), Samford (SoCon), Mercer (SoCon). Add another 50 miles and you add USM (C-USA) 👍🏼

UCF if 355 miles away, with the ACC decision they may have an opening week 1

UCF if 355 miles away, with the ACC decision they may have an opening week 1 I don't want to see that. Why would I want to see Troy get throttled.

Please tell me this, why would you place the East Division on the logical west side and the West Division on the logical east side of an official conference graphic? Surf Report: We have clear skies with the air temp at 76 degrees and the water temp around 84 degrees. High tide is at 9:31 am and low tide is at 9:06 pm. The wind is offshore at 4 mph out of the NNW causing glassy conditions on the water. The surf is flat, and not much forecasted for the next couple of days.

Oh, that is an easy question! So that you can make sure that the two historically strongest programs in the conference are in the center OR Maybe it is a subliminal message the conference is suggesting ... the two teams they expect to be in the Championship Game at season end ?

The middle two teams are tied for Sunbelt champions at 6 a piece. 🤷♂️

If they do proceed with this and actually play games, are their concrete plans to televise these games ? Is ESPN on board ? If not, the reasoning for playing diminishes since the stands will look to be empty.

I think this year more than any other, empty stands are not a defining factor of a program. The reason for playing is to play the game. I hope there will be TV, especially for the away games.
