PROS: South on a Saturday No home game Thanksgiving weekend
CONS: 4 of the last 5 on the road From Jonesboro to Statesboro in a week.... OUCH From Knoxville to Boone in a week... OUCH
Lastly, Dear SunBelt leaders (Kyle Wilborn I'm talking to you) please take the Troy vs. App game off of Thanksgiving weekend. Such a big game, both fan bases are punished, especially the one who hosts the game.
Until they prove worthy, send Troy to Texas State every Saturday after Thanksgiving.

Don’t understand that STUCK ON Thanksgiving week game with App. Somehow some way we escaped those terrible Tuesday or Wednesday games. Like O2 guy said, back to back Jonestown koolaideville to jaja Southern is tough then back to back broke back mountain trips is tough too. Not sure South and Troy will fit into their new stadium but it is a weekend

If we can get past NCSTATE, we have a very good chance of starting 5-0, and a decent chance of starting 7-0. I know the back of the schedule is tough, but the first half is a blessing. NCSTATE was really, really bad last year by ACC standards. So bad that Troy ended the season ranked higher, despite going 5-7 with a Sun Belt schedule. ULM and Georgia State will be without their all world quarterbacks, and South Alabama and Texas State will likely not be good enough to beat us.

Those first 7 we must win 5 o Chip Ship take big Dip. The last 5 we should win 1 maybe two. So at best a 7 win season even with fairies and pixie dust 8. But a 5 or 6 win season would not at all stun me. Now with that said a paper tiger could develop and stumble into Tennessee with one loss. If no injuries and some luck. However a range for the season for me is from 4 to 8 victories

I kind of like all the home games early in the season because they are easier to get to and the turn out is usually better but once we get closer to Thanksgiving it gets colder, classes let out for the holidays and it's tougher to draw a crowd.
