11 win season with tons of stars on the roster. I think this team might be the best of all time. If you have espn+, the LSU game is available in full. No commercials or halftime. I think I have watched it at least 5 times.

The 2007 schedule was much tougher and our roster was loaded with NFL talent.

2009 was probably one of the most talented rosters and would compete for best team. Unfortunately lost in double OT to #23 Central Michigan, and that was when they had WR Antonio Brown, QB Dan LeFevour, and CB Jahleel Addae. If Troy wins that game, we finish 10-3 with a decent chance we finish in the Top 25 in the AP poll.
QB Levi Brown (drafted 7th round) QB Corey Robinson (#15 passing yards leader in FBS history) RB DuJuan Harris (played in NFL) RB Maurice Greer (4-star recruit via Colorado) WR Jerrel Jernigan (drafted 3rd round) WR Josh Jarboe (4-star recruit via Oklahoma) OL James Brown (played in NFL)
CB Bryan Willis (freshman All-American) CB Jorrick Calvin (drafted 6th round) DE Mario Addison (plays in NFL) DE Cameron Sheffield (drafted 7th round) DE Brandon Lang (4-star recruit) DL Sidell Corley (4-star recruit via LSU) DL Riley Flowers (4-star recruit) DL Kevin Dixon (4-star recruit via Nebraska) DL Eugene Kinlaw (4-star recruit) LB Boris Lee & Bear Woods (one of the best LB duos in the country) LB Antonio Harper (4-star recruit)

Ok you guys listed a lot of great players on those teams and they are great BUT, the 2 guys that seal the deal for the 2017 team are Neal and Vic.

If we had Vic in 2007, our defense would have been scary good. We had 3 DB's that played multiple years in the NFL (Martin, McKelvin and Mack) and Sheffield who was on the Chiefs roster for 3 years, plus Woods and Lee. Keep in mind Tony Franklin was our OC that year as well.

The world saw the 2017 Trojans beat LSU. *mic drop* I guess this thread topic switched from the greatest team to the greatest win.

I think I have watched it at least 5 times. Listing a greatest all time team is tough. I will agree in the FBS (D1) era the 2017 team was really good especially defensively although the 2009 imo was better offensively. I'm still partial to the 1993 team with Kelvin Simmons that was one bad shot gun snap away from playing in the 1-AA Championship game that year. Different eras and different teams...all of them great.
