Planning on making the Sunday game on March 1 at noon. Great test for our baseball team also. Bringing around 5 plus my then 17 month old and future Troy football or baseball player Grand Son . Anyone else going to be at the game? Maybe could have a quick tail gate before the game. Can't wait as this is only a quick 30 minute drive north for me. Going to proudly wear my Troy colors in the heart of that gaudy orange and blue country. Go Trojans!! Beat The Swamp Lizards!!!

Troy's got an incredibly tough schedule. So many great OOC teams we play:
@ Alabama Louisiana Tech Louisiana Tech Louisiana Tech @ #4 Florida @ #4 Florida @ #4 Florida vs. Michigan State vs. Southern Miss #7 Arkansas #7 Arkansas
The Sun Belt schedule is already tough with so many good SBC teams.
Troy has a chance to make an NCAA Regional as an at-large with this schedule.

I have a good feeling about this team.

Throwing around 94-95 MPH and he is a Arkansas commit. Can't wait to see him pitch when they play the Gators but it would be amazing if I could watch him in Troy

Great opportunity for the Trojans, who can swing it this year. Pitching will be key in this series, as with most matchups with elite Power 5s, and Troy is seemingly finding some pieces already. I hope they get at least one down there, and two would be monstrous!

Lost 3-2 game one but three costly errors. 10-7 loss in game two but five errors. Hitting the ball well but errors are killing us

Hitting the ball well but errors are killing us This series, so far, shows the Trojans can hit like a MLB squad, pitch like a strong mid-major college squad and field like a Dixie Youth squad. This team has the talent to make some noise, and I fully expect them to make a regional if injuries don’t pile up. These last two games could be great teaching points about what it takes to finish off top competition moving forward. These results could define what might be a really special season.

I’ve noticed a trend during this series. Whenever we removed starting pitching (on both Friday and Saturday), the whole thing fell apart. I think that Levi Thomas should’ve easily been left in longer on Friday Night. It’s also predictable as to when Coach Smartt will walk to the mound and remove the starter.

Levi was up to 108 pitches at the time. You may get one more inning later in the year, but it’s too early to stretch you best guy that much.
