Anybody got the scoop on what the search looks like for a new Strength & Conditioning Coach?
Still hoping Rafael Horton gets offered. He was making $125,000 at Troy before he went to WVU. Throw Horton an offer between $150K-$200K and offer him the S&C head coach position. Heck, UAB is paying their guy $160K... ULL is paying their guy $250K. I think Troy can shell out a little more for such an important role.

Whether its true or not I don't know. I'm not sure about bond debt, but I was told by someone in the Athletics Department that they were going through budget reductions back in August. Take that for what it's worth.

Ok, I'll take the job. We will call my program the " I lift things up and put them down" program and I will "Pump Them Up". Hemi I'm hiring as Asst S&C coach and for motivation the slackers have to attend class in his loin cloth

From “Footballscoop.com” Army West Point: Per source, Rusty Whitt is leaving his post as the assistant strength and conditioning coach at Army to become the Director of Strength and conditioning at Troy. Prior to joining the Army staff, Whitt was the head strength coach at Texas Tech and UL-Lafayette.

Why not Head butts are bitchin I don’t mind him. He was there with steroid HUD (I think) and they were both a bit over the top. But having a strength guy getting over top might help us.

So far from what I've read I like this choice as long as he can relate to the players which it seems like he can. He is a warrior and will train warriors.
