Adults can also be over it and not kiss his a$$. That's why I said before that I'm *indifferent* to him. I don't wish bad things on him, but I'm not swooning either.

I am going to make one last comment. Strange the guy never got this much discussion when he was here. Indifferent, mad or amnestic it really perplexed me to realize that . As porky the pig use to say: Thaaaaaaaaaaats all folks!

Indifference would equal not saying a word. Jus sayin. Posting - multiple times would not - in my humble opinion - equate to indifference.
However, being frustrated about a cheap shot across the bow isn’t against the law. Dude lobbed a comment that he probably didn’t think about. We all say things - teens - me at 48 - doesn’t make us a bad dude. But, it might generate responses that are less than welcomed. So, he gets to say what he wants, but he also gets to live with what he says.
My guess is that he’s not reading this board, soooooo.
Great to be a TROJAN... goodness, I love ‘Merica!!!

I said I was indifferent to *Sawyer*, I'm not indifferent to this inexplicable Sawyer bandwagon. He doesn't give a crap about Troy anymore, so why are people still gaga over him? Why do we have to keep coming back to this, "We all say bad things..." stuff? Everyone says that like it's some great epiphany. No joke, we all say bad things sometimes, but there's also consequences to those things, but people are celebrating him, venerating him, congratulating, etc., and I don't get it.

My previous post was more about the apologists for Sawyer than Sawyer himself. If were about Sawyer I wouldn't have provided the absurd scenarios. But to your point, in a year from now ask Sawyer what the best memory of his college football career will be, dollars to dog biscuits Troy won't be involved. You should really get out of the basement and let a little sunshine hit you in the face. Why do you always have to make personal attacks? You are a bully.

Bingo. He earned his degree, stayed out of trouble and led us to victories and a bowl win. The purpose of every player is do what you are suppose to do, contribute and earn your degree. He did all of that. I had scapula reattachment surgery in Lexington on June 5 and I have made five trips there since April. I love Troy but there is no comparison in Troy, AL and Lexington. Lexington is a beautiful city and I'm sorry, a masters degree from UK will open more doors for him. A lot of money in Lexington with a great alumni base. I for one will root for him over the swamp lizards First, you need this. I'm sure it's hard to breathe way up there on your pedestal.
Don't live in Bama dude. Proud Troy alumni also. I know exactly how to get to Lexington, I fly there tomorrow for my fifth trip there since April. Research Dr Ben Kibler at Lexington Clinic and the surgery he pioneered called Medial Scapular Reatachment Surgery. Sorry I couldn't find a doctor at Troy Memorial that could do that surgery.

Smith is gonna beat FL and I'm proud for him.
Oh, and if you don't care, then stop clicking on this thread and showing yourself to be a juvenile teenager living in an adult body. Nobody is forcing anyone to click on this thread and definitely nobody is responsible for some of the immaturity displayed in it. Be a grown up and overlook it if you truly don't care. Or at least keep it on an adult level.

It works both ways. No one forces you to read my posts. At least I don't put down my own school.

Nobody put down Troy. I am a proud Alumni and my office at work is wall to wall Troy stuff. I stated a fact whether you or I like it...he will have more Alumni connections at UK. My daughter has a biomedical science degree from Troy (cum laude) and she got passed over on three job offers for others from bigger schools. She has a good job now but it was frustrating for her for a while.
I don't root or even care about UK sports. I stated that there is a lot of money in Lexington and is a nicer town than Troy. That is a fact. Stating the obvious isn't putting down my alma mater. Sawyer Smith is a Troy alumni, led us to a bowl game and was bowl MVP. He wasn't going to start this season and he exercised his right to be a grad transfer just like hundreds of other players do. He wasn't kicked off, he didn't flunk out, he wasn't arrested. He did what is expected of every student that enters Troy...earn a degree. I wish him and every other Troy grad all the best.

This thread needs to die. He’s not a Trojan anymore. He’s not an alumni? So he gets his degree, goes to another university for his next degree and somehow his status as a Trojan is revoked. Might want to turn in that Alumni card with that logic.
