Gad, same 5 months! What a roller-coaster! Dude, weâre talking about 90 days. No way anyone else has done this in the modern era. Might be a good argument for hiring from within at this time? At least the folks on the staff now would have familiarity with the new coaches and I assume played some roll in the process? I actually hope Jeremy included them ... cause at least with the Cross hire, and maybe with (The HC we don’t speak of) ... he had to know there was a chance he was leaving?

Pretty sure Dear Leader might have known. Makes the (The HC we don’t speak of) hire much more sensible. A little bit more seasoned I guess. I am sure Dear Leader pushed for him. Quite frankly, I think his teams will move at a faster pace for sure.
The basketball hire was pure luck if you axe Ho. Head Coach Scott Frost probably drove to Troy and camped out on Dear Leaders door steps to get back into the Sunbelt. I think we got REAL lucky with him. We need to get his family settled into a new house yesterday. With the craziness going on in basketball wouldnt be surprised if TCU coach ends up at UCLA making Cross a tempting target for the Frogs. Look at Chris Beard. He went from Little Rock to UNLV to T-Tech in about 30 days.

How many schools have replaced the head football coach, head mens basketball coach, and athletic director in the same year? Just off the top of my ahead, Florida in 2015. Hired football coach in January, basketball coach in May 2015 then AD about a year later

With a trend of former coaches becoming AD's in college sports like Miss state, Tennessee and South Carolina to name a few. Is there a former Troy Coach or former college coach that we would consider? Just a random thought I had.

Johnny Williams did a great job but college athletics is big business now and requires a specific skill set. Robert Earl Stewart was a tight wad at AD but he ran it like a business and you can't argue with the success he had. We need to name a new AD What's His Name soon is all I know

At least the two big 'revenue" sports are in off season so that's good. Sandy has been around the day to day operations so I'm sure she is running the show right now

I am proud to be the first to announce a Press conference tomorrow at 1:00 PM announcing Hemi as our next AD. I have also been tipped of that Hemi will be wearing his formal loin cloth complete with tassels. He may not be the best AD we will ever have but certainly he will be one of our most unique. In a very small way, this would be funny to watch, as this dude bringing the Troy Athletic program down to ash and rubble would at least be entertainment on a grand scale.
