The Hornets are coming. The last time they came to town we posted 26k+ fans and we won 38-0. They travel well and could outnumber Troy fans in the stands. This team is 0-1 after losing to Tuskegee last Saturday but you can bet they have us circled on the schedule. They saw weakness in game 1 from us and they will be ready to play.

Besides the obvious handicap of the lack of creativity of our OC, I believe CNB will make sure the offense scores at least 50 or he will run them for two days. In his conference CNB says he was upset and still not over our offensive performance. He said he is not turning the page and still will be upset about this next Saturday ! Kick a$$ Neal ! (but you need some help, cut loose of the holdover staff that is weak and holding you back)

Oh, wait ... he just said in the press conference he's in charge of the offense. Well, at least he doesn't call the plays! Oh, wait ... that's right, he does call the plays. But, still ... he's only responsible for the offensive performance if it's really good.

I thought we pay Offensive Coordinators and QB coaches, whose duty is to envision, develop and plan a offensive game plan. I guess they just sit around and watch CNB do everything. Tip & Clue: CNB is so involved in all the Head Coach duties that the program relies on the offensive coaches develop the O plan. Yes CNB is an involved but he is being dragged down by the obvious lack of imagination.

CNB said he's responsible for the offense. Take that how you interpret it

CNB is accountable. To me this is one of the major reasons I like him. I'm not saying anything about any of our past coaches but when CNB puts responsibility front and center, it is a a great quality as a coach and a man.

But the guy needs some help that we obviously is not getting on the O side of the ball. But it looks like others want to solely blame CNB. Typical from the Rowell apologist club.

Let's see.... 1st, Larry is Legend but does anyone not believe is was past time for him to ride off in the sunset ? At this point in 2017, does one want CLB or CNB at the helm ? We win that argument, you lose it. Rowell, well, would anyone want Rowell over VK as D coordinator. Win again.

How would anyone consider stating the obvious as a win? As usual, reality has escaped you once again.

How would anyone consider stating the obvious as a win? As usual, reality has escaped you once again. The obvious needs to be stated to you and the other Rowell apologist fan club. When it comes to what is actually happening quite often y'all run around like three blind mice wondering why you can't find the cheese. Plus your record of defending and lobbying for obvious sub par coaches to stay at Troy is well documented.

LB is 3+ yrs removed and I don't see what would necessitate taking additional shots at the man. If it makes you feel good about you, do you. Don't expect everyone to rally around that, though.

I got a little confused in this thread. Does LB or JR coach at ASU? As of this morning they didn't. Trey Dunbar is a coach there. He was a defensive GA at Troy and an analyst on offense if you need to find a tie to Troy and ASU.

DT does however point how much better off we are sometimes with HCNB over the latter years of the LB era. TB can take positive post and get LB but hurt. They must be dating.

So.... Alabama State... I feel sorry for them. Hell hath no fury more than a pissed off CNB. DT is excited to get some practice in and see some 2nd string guys participate in long drives. I remember yelling half a season from the stands "Put in Levi". These kind of games can cause Ah Ha moments sometimes.

The backup QB is everyone's favorite player until he plays.
You fellas need to take a long toke and calm down.

If we don't then call former Troy OC Willie Slater now the Tuskegee HC to call the plays. If we don't light it up for confidence I will be shocked
