Are we going to start one of these threads every time a college has a coaching position open?

Are we going to start one of these threads every time a college has a coaching position open? Probably so. It's ok though. It means we have a coach that is doing well and is a hot commodity. That certainly flies in the face of the keyboard coaches here that are overly critical of everything he does.

Are we going to start one of these threads every time a college has a coaching position open? Probably most of the time or 100% of the time he is mentioned as a candidate. But as Hemi points out...Just means he's doing good things!

From Stacy Long, Mtgy Advertiser, quoting AD Jeremy McClain:
"TROY — Troy, in accepting an invitation to Mobile’s Dollar General Bowl on Sunday, touted its turnaround season and applauded its players and coaches.
But could those coaches be in line for further rewards?
“We’re going to make sure our guys have every resource available to be successful,” athletic director Jeremy McClain said. “I’ll put it that way. We’ll make sure we put our best foot forward.”
That could extend to the head coach."
Reading between the lines (risky, I know) possibly a little something extra in the Christmas stocking? Maybe an extension? We can hope.

He could take this job. He is from KY and Cinncy is right across the river from Covington, KY. I would be surprised if he's offered but not surprised if he accepts

Any truth to this? ESPN is reporting that Troy HC Neal Brown is a candidate to replace Tuberville at Cincinnati. Yes. Tuberville is leaving on good terms. As it has been heard, Tuberville gave him a couple names to pursue, one was Neal Brown. Zero doubt Neal's agent has been contacted to gauge interest. Tuberville was making $2.4 a year. If they offered Neal $2 million a year, do you think he wouldn't take it ?

Brohm from WKU is going to Purdue according to bleacher report. I can't see WKU as any upgrade unless it's about money and if so it's time to step up adm!

I just hope they took notes of the good and bad ideas.

With Brohm off the table, they will come after Neal hard and fast... could he take it, sure. It's good money in a bigger conference close to home. How awesome would it be for him to turn it down though! Could we have a coach who is wanted by a bigger program yet tells them no!?!?!?!?!?

As has been discussed, maybe just maybe he is a man that wants to finish what he starts to put his complete signature on it. I hope and pray this is the case but either way if he stays or he goes I am a fan of Neal Brown.

We need to get CNB a new contract after this bowl game with a nice buy out. Cause if he wins 8 or more next year he gone! Might as well get some $$$ on his way out.

Baylor just hired stAtes Blake Anderson... stAte gets a 2million Dollar payday Nice job by all parties on that hire. I think we have dodged the Cincy bullet. Gotta get hat extension handled though. I believe Mr Ho told us it needed to be handled last week. Right again...
