Interesting things from WVUWire
WVUWire has been told that barring any unforeseen last minute inclusions the choice is between Fickell and Brown.
WUWire has also learned that both are willing to accept the position given the right circumstances. However, with the rumored price tag Lyons is putting on the position ($2.5-$3 million per year) is one some feel Brown may be being advised to hold out on for a bigger payday in the future given he is such a hot commodity right now.
Brown’s contract buyout is reportedly $2.9 million. Fickell’s current buyout at Cincinnati if he were to leave currently sits at $2.75 million.

Check out his timeline and you will find out he was already a student enrolled at Troy and in class participating as a walk on when he signed the LOI on February 4th 2015. Could not care less about his timeline. My post was simply an article showing that he had signed a LOI with Troy. It was hard to understand what you are saying when the previous post before your response said that he had signed in 2015.

He wasn't technically a walk-on. They were able to use the same academic scholarship my daughter attended on, The Millenial Scholarship (31 or higher ACT). It covers full tuition and room and board. They used this instead of an athletic Scholarship. One of my former teamates who is from and lives in MS contacted Troy about him. Being a college walk-on simply means you are on the college team and receive no form of athletic financial aid (athletic scholarship) during that time. I was considered a walk on by the NCAA even though I did not pay a penny.

I didn’t think he was a walk on. I thought he was a fairly highly rated recruit that left after the Spring when he didn’t beat Brandon out. He entered Troy in January as a walk during his first spring. Came to Tday as the #2 behind Brandon Silvers and was going to be put on scholarship later that summer. Decided that May to go to Juco instead. EDIT. He was offered by LB the October just a week before LB announced his retirement . He chose Troy over Jones Community College in December 2014 and committed after NB evaluated him. Graduated school then and was an early enrollee . Signed with the 2015 class and was going to be on scholarship.

I had forgotten the Washington state QB was part of the Troy walk on program until it was mentioned in pregame.

Go to over to Columbus and through Reynolds and Fort Valley to I16. There really is no easy way to get there. Came back from Savannah on this route recently and it is by far better. On the way over we went thru the Eufala route and had to stop for the wild hogs in the road in GA. There was however probably 30 dollar generals at the intersections and 4 way stops on that trip over. Lol

I remember coming out of the locker room onto the practice fields we would always kind of just jump off the hill down to the bottom of the top practice field, Southeast Missouri came out and they were tiptoeing down that Hill like it was made out of ice Thanks for bringing a memory of those days.

With Kelly Bryant transferring now at Clemson it is really screwing up things on how to coach. Not that I am looking forward to it but next year with Free, Watson, Smith and Barker. It could be even Troy’s Time to put up with this trend. Leaves some schools in terrible situations like Nebraska but leaves even Clemson vulnerable. The atmosphere of what is in it for me is becoming more and more oeonounced. The G5 will probably be less effected but it is a bad trend for the game. A player that already red shirted does not matter. The rule is 4 games and then you can red shirt transfer. Like Smith has already red shirted so he would loss a year of eligibility to transfer to another D1 school.

I was told that any injury that results in a player not being able to participate in 30% of the games of a season can qualify as a medical red shirt.

I seen more ASU fans than I did Mississippi State. There was more fans were I was sitting than at Mississippi State. Less sounds like Fake News to me since I personally seen more. Lol
Actual number I can not say, more than Mississippi State I will say from my perspective.

It might be shown live out there and it might be shown live on your provider but with DISH Network channel 415 the Diamondbacks will be playing on any TV's around here. Keep in mind this is FOX Sports Arizona "Plus" and not FOX Sports Arizona. FOX Sports Arizona "Plus" is not an option for DISH subscribers in the southeastern US. Who is your provider? Dish Channel 445 on my guide

605 Total yards Saturday. If that's not moving the ball, what is? 605 yards and just 34 points. Penalties are killing this offense 41 points Pick 6 on the screen.
