Me too, same type feel. We would hold them to almost no points on defense but couldnt move the ball on offense. 605 Total yards Saturday. If that's not moving the ball, what is? 605 yards and just 34 points. Penalties are killing this offense

It was definitely more than 75%, though I think his point was to argue announced attendance. I personally don't believe the actual attendance was the highest ever. Also, I wouldn't say the Tropolitan is a joke based on one staff member's off-hand crowd assessment. Though last year's article regarding South Hate Week was a trash opinion, I'll admit. But even that wasn't written by a sports staffer.

So i've got a gig being Underdog Dynasty's lead SBC recruiting writer now and, as a Troy student and fan, thought i'd come here and see if you guys would have some story ideas.
What I have so far is a short interview with Gunnar Watson (it's not great, he didn't really give me anything) and I'd rather wait to do a story on him after some of his senior highlights are out and some other QB's have committed around the league.
So if you guys have any news, tips, updates, ideas I would love to hear them.
Thanks.

Couple things off on the article. You can tell he waited until there were some stats released. Wish the Troy guy at Forgotten5 had covered it

So just to clarify... It's not o.k. to use a hashtag with the word hate on twitter. ( Thanks for the definition, I wasn't sure of the meaning). Link to the article: tropnews.com/10291From the Trop: "This behavior does not respect our rivals or our own community." "The way we interact with our rival seems more violent and insensitive." "When our own student leaders are reinforcing the idea that we have to detest another institution all for the sake of a rivalry, without any real basis, it is terrifying." However, it is o.k. for YOU to post a video of individuals that have zero official connection with Troy University fighting like animals and promoting it to 45K viewers on your official YouTube page? (You won't see a link here) Tell me again... who is promoting violence?Just now seeing this post. I know the staff pretty well. This was an opinion piece written by a non-sports guy. The sports section generally frowned upon it
