If you watch the highlights of the New Orleans Bowl, you'll see Anderson outrunning a DB for nearly 50 yards. I couldn't believe my eyes, and I've seen a lot of football. Really surprised me. Great young man! And, heck of a player. Talking to his family at a game, looks like he may not give pro ball a go ... plans to go into Missions. Selfishly, I'd love to see him play ... I think he has a chance to be a really good pro! And, he could put away some funds for ministry! I do remember that scrimmage play from Anderson 90+ yards he has always had a speed never really understood why we never used him all of these years except second half of his senior year. His junior year they was running Chnn so much he got injured as if we do not have a solid back up. I'm just glad he was able to help us out this year and contribute soft hands speed and power.I would love to see him at the next left level he definitely would've had invitation to a bowl had he played more and have more highlights.

We had a great season and we've acknowledged the contributions of Silvers, Chunn, the receiving corps, the defense....all of whom earned the praise coming our way. As we do this, let's not forget Tyler Sumpter. He came in after the SoBama game and turned a disasterous kicking game into what it should be - automatic. If my memory is correct, he had one FG blocked and he missed one after he took over. I'm not ready to say he "saved" our season, but he was a game changer for us. The team rallied around him and his consistency allowed the staff to concentrate on things other than PATs. Good job Tyler, and thanks. I could not agree more Mr. Sumpter 😊. I agree with you!! Also Anderson for stepping in for chunn we did not miss a beat. He gets over looked at times.

So, if you were the coach, had an air-raid offense, but you had Chunn ( 2nd all-time behind Dewitt ) & Anderson, you wouldn't run the ball? I'm the first to complain about not airing the ball out,but I, at least, understand the why... I agree these are Larry Blakely recruits for his offense at the time, these two running back's are powerful running back's and talent needs to be used for both of them there is not one defense out there cannot stop these two guys then you mix in Henderson and run pass plays off of the foundation of the running back's. There are plenty of offense of coordinators who would Love to have the talent we have in the backfield and would be so creative using it instead we call the same boring plays and struggle. Play calling needs an upgrade maybe Vic can call them he's bailed nb out plenty of times all year and knows how to make in game adjustments

Pull, Silvers... He's hungover or something. Why are we passing the ball when Anderson and chunn running the ball with ease? Oh yeah that's right NFL scouts are in the stands smh how about we just try to win !

We have quality backups to Jordan, Anderson is a load and is capable given the opportunity. Agree with you with the addition of Henderson. There is no reason one back should have to carry the full load. One of my favorite things is to watch Anderson punish people. Same here I'm all old school (probably showing my age) smash mouth football north to south running and using Henderson tastefully.

I know there are concerns about Chunn's health (of course, as NB said ... we have some good ones behind him). One concern I have if he is healthy ... I think on the majority of his last 10 or so carries (S.AL and LSU) ... he mishandled and/or fumbled! That is very concerning!! Maybe we can sneak him some "stick'em" Coach Brown says he is an NFL caliber back. Not fumbling like this. We have quality backups to Jordan, Anderson is a load and is capable given the opportunity.

I understand that we knew going into this year Chunn was not 100% and his reps would need to be monitored Anderson and Henderson both are capable of splitting those reps, chunn was averaging 20+ touches a game that is not a way to preserve him for the year. Every defensive scheme we will see. 8 in the box and shut down Chun, tight man coverage daring us to beat it. If we can get our recievers to create separation and show that we can throw with touch into tight spaces we will see nothing else. The rap on us is shut down run game you beat us. Boise and USA shut down our run game and we were unable to score points. We cannot be one dimensional every TV broadcast announcer always say we should run Chunn and Anderson between the tackles with some catches out the backfield and have Henderson on sweeps, which will open up the passing game more. Our deep ball is not here so far this year. It's sad when we have the talent but calling plays that will not compliment our talent. O creativity everyone knows what we run. I was hoping to hear him address these issues during press conference today or something. Yes we know he takes the blame for us not being ready and play calling and depth chart will see some changes but what now? How many more times will he say that until we see change?

Just got done watching the ga state press conference. Do you think NB addressed all of the issues conference is only 8 minutes long(a lot was talk about other teams losing)? He mentioned the running game not being there after Chunn left because the back up running back's don't get a lot of reps. Why don't they get reps during the week In the event the 1s go down 2s step up. Seems like all of his eggs are in one basket not just with the running backs but with other positions. Four year starter. I agree we need to get others some reps. When I played the ones and twos got equal reps to make sure if anyone went down the back ups were ready. Worked then and it works now I understand that we knew going into this year Chunn was not 100% and his reps would need to be monitored Anderson and Henderson both are capable of splitting those reps, chunn was averaging 20+ touches a game that is not a way to preserve him for the year.

He will live and die by silvers and chunn, they can fumble 2 times and throw 2 picks and he not bat an eye!! We have quality back ups look at anderson is it a sin for him run more that 3 times a game? Dude can help carry the load. He spent so much time force feeding them for stats and nfl scouts he forgets to actually coach. Silvers threw a pass and hit the legs of the defensive lineman....no pressure just threw it at the legs of the lineman.....give Barker a chance. I agree but he will never do that he's invested way too much in silvers and chunn. Force feeding their stats!! Mentioning their names in EVERY interview gettting their numbers up instead of actually winning games. Browns ego is way big who is gonna ask him the tough questions??? All of the media that are in the post game conference are part of Troy or the local news nobody will hold him accountable.

The only highlight of the evening was the Sound of the south pregame and halftime. And I guess it was also nice just to be on campus for a few hours again. Hopefully CNB can turn around our wreck of an Offense. CNB stands in the way of a very special group of student athletes being 6-0 to date, 13-0 end of season. Talent that could have competed for the one slot in a New Year's Day bowl. He does not utilize all the talent. I believe Brandon Silvers is an excellent quarterback. I'm proud of him. But excellent quarterbacks, just like all of us, have bad days. His this year have been Boise and tonight. CNB will ignore the team to live and die by him. I don't believe Brandon or any of our other student athletes would expect this. CNB is not now nor ever will be a Trojan. He's all about himself. Smiling and sucking up the praise on multiple national sports shows last week. Even arrogant when asked if the same would happen next game like it did after being ranked 25th last year. "We got that handled. We learned from that". I had hoped some program paying more money would come along and sweep him off his feet at the end of this season so we'd have the chance to bring OUR winner home. Not happening now. We're stuck with CNB and some very lucky school will take CSC away from us forever. Most likely a Sun Belt school and he'll kick our butts year after year after year. So sad. He will live and die by silvers and chunn, they can fumble 2 times and throw 2 picks and he not bat an eye!! We have quality back ups look at anderson is it a sin for him run more that 3 times a game? Dude can help carry the load. There isn't a chick on the soccer team that could kick worse than that kid. He wasn't even close on two 30 yd field goal tries. The kid isn't even worthy of riding the bench for Charles Henderson High School. This is what happens when you have nfl scouts in the stands and you try to showcase your rb and qb and not try to win the game. You have other weapons!!! Get creative nb!!!

Did they talk about Henderson on TV? Don't betray HIPA, but if there is an official word. He has a serious attitude problem Why don't we have any creativity in play calling Are we afraid to use Anderson 1 rushing attempt. Can the fg kickers kick all day all week during practice??

Bubble! Tunnel! Back porch! No more screens!!! It's hard to go north-south going east-west. I'm with Jon Gruden on the disdain for the bubble screen. We are air raid not bubble raid I agree play calling has to be better, my wife was calling the plays as they lined up!! We have an all star back field why doesn't Anderson run more?? Give chunn a break. I like his style.
