I can understand some people defending (The HC we don’t speak of) after the Liberty game, but if he loses to Southern Miss he should just start packing up his office on Sunday. Letâs hope we lose to the Mustard Buzzards for the good of the program in the future. I know you well. You claim to love this school. You canât wish for a loss. Those players deserve better, regardless of who is the coach.

I won't defend (The HC we don’t speak of) after that offensive performance. It's like Groundhog Day when we play teams with defenses that aren't garbage. All respect to Brandon Hall though, he has redeemed himself since that first year under (The HC we don’t speak of) (The HC we don’t speak of). No one is defending (The HC we don’t speak of) (The HC we don’t speak of). There are people that support Troy football in spite on their current situation. Yes, Iâm ok with that.

We are 1-1 against Bowling Green and 2-8 against Southern Miss. That may not mean anything, but we have the worst football coach in the history of our school. These players deserve better. Troy is in the decline and that is not just football. The SotS is now woke and has abandoned our traditions. The campus is cluttered with counterfeit statues given to us by the communist chinese. There is globalism everywhere. An example is the globalist monument across from the baseball stadium. We have a Mao institute for God’s sake. They named it after the fortune cookie guy but who can’t see through that? They renamed Bibb Graves hall after John Lewis, who did some great civil rights work, but he was also strongly suspected of being a communist. It’s time for the current regime to go. Bring someone in who will develop a STEM focused curriculum and who demands excellence and allegiance to our great nation. I don't take this board seriously because, why would I? It is openly mocked in a hilarious way by a Troy podcast for just that reason. But as a person I simply can't let you take shots at a Civil Rights icon who is only recently in the ground without saying something. Grow up and change the channel every once in a while. And that's a lot of talk about commies and fascists for someone who then finishes their screed yearning for a leader to who "demands allegiance". King George demanded allegiance. Didn't work out well for him either. But just to answer your backhanded take on the admins at Troy, unless they took Saturday and deep fried it in batter and served it with a slice of apple pie while Dolly Parton played baseball, I'm not sure how much more American it could have been. When I went to get a beer at halftime, I half expected Toby Keith to be the guy giving out the cold ones. But maybe you missed all that because you weren't there? Not very allegiant of you. Not very cash money of you either (that one is a joke for the kids, don't worry about it). Don’t take any message board seriously.

Troy's offense has looked like an actual offense for all of 1 game, thats the Ark St game last year because the QB stretched the field and didnt just throw checkdowns and dump offs the way (The HC we don’t speak of) DEMANDS!!! when you dont stretch the field then other teams just crowd the line and then there is nowhere to run. Seems pretty basic I mean, at some point, you have to be able to run the ball when they know you're gonna run the ball. Three years with talented backs, and no run game to speak of. How does a HC, OL, or OC go through their career and completely ignore the run game? How do you not fix that? I feel this is 100% a coaching issue. Iâm not knocking the new guy, heâs only had two games. I promise you a Schlarman or Moore Oline would move people off the line of scrimmage.

A non existent running game will cause any quarterback to struggle.

Agree. If we are going to keep up, we will need $$$. Don't be surprised if App State moves to the AAC. App State has a real good chance of moving on. Don't get me wrong - Troy has the best game day experience with Tailgating oof all the Sunbelt teams - have not been to San Marcos, Lafayette yet. We have everything needed to be a great program - we just need to win When ULL is good their GameDay is amazing! Texas St is bad.

Yes Liberty is a good team and our defense played admirably, but that doesnât change the fact that our offense couldnât stay on the field. Not to mention that Liberty had at least 2 key players out with Covid. The way our defense played tonight we should be able to hold every team we play this season to 21 but if you cat score then you canât win and that lies on the head coach and the OC. Take a look at the direction of our program. We are talking about losing to Liberty. A team that has only been playing in the FBS since 2018. Coastal has been playing at the FBS level since 2017. Ap moved to FBS in 2014. At this point we are being passed by other programs who are winning and getting more respect nationally . Iâd like to know our short term and long term goals. Iâm sure that for 21 it would be to win the conference and that could still happen but (The HC we don’t speak of) will have to score more than 13 against Coastal, Ap and Louisiana. Then make a bowl. And win We havenât been there yet under (The HC we don’t speak of) . Whatâs the long term vision? A few years ago many talked about modeling our program after Boise who is in the G 5 but plays P 5 and gets the respect nationally ! I like that vision but we are nowhere close to that when we are pointing out how we lost to Liberty! *Liberty is a good team. Willis is a stud. *Defense was excellent. DC Hall continues to impress. *The kids played hard throughout, proud of them. *(The HC we don’t speak of) is a head coach at one of the Birmingham suburb high schools. *We continue to tail gate, have fun with family and friends and support the players and program. *Vision, not sure this Admin has a long term vision. Good question. *the short term vision of each season should be to win the Sunbelt title. Period. Iâm guessing youâve never had a conversation with anyone in this administration?

Troy probably held Liberty to what will be their lowest score this season. I'd actually put money on that. Next week's game against Southern Miss is going to tell the tale. Troy should beat Southern Miss, and Troy should be favored. We have more talent, more depth, and more experience. If we lose to Southern Miss though, then there are no excuses left. The Well of Excuses will be dry for (The HC we don’t speak of). Good post.

Theres no evidence of an extension, but I don’t think anyone can say that there’s not enough evidence to get rid of him.Tonight should have proved that to even the staunchest chipdip apologist.18 minutes time of possession,21 yards total rushing, two turnovers, what more needs to be proven? Liberty proved it was the better team on the field tonight. 10 games left to play this seasson, no seer here. We'll be there cheering and enjoying Fall Football. . Just what we do. I’m with you Cornhole

Just an FYI concessions aren’t managed by the athletic department. Is who manages those concessions being managed by the athletic dept. or some other university entity? I'm just curious. I've actually never had too terrible an experience. And I guess long lines are a good issue to have if you're gonna have one. That means there's people in the stadium at least. It’s above the athletic department.

The not running through the T is a COVID thing. Keeping them separated You beat me to the punch. The players are gonna grunt, and sweat on, and probably spit on each other for the next 4 hours and the band members are gonna practically sit in each other's laps while blowing through instruments, and, after the game, the players are gonna go high 5 the portion of the student body still remaining in the stadium (none of which I have a problem with, BTW) but let's make sure we don't let players run with 10 feet of the band, outdoors, in the UV light. None of those people will bump into each other at the Porch either.

Game discussion: At this point with very little to read as far as data. I think we are better than last year. Not sure what that will get me at Sisters for lunch but it is better than my usual over the last two years of ….. we kind of suck at times. Its’s called hope!!!!! Unfortunately Sisters is currently closed on Sundays. Had to go to Julia’s. I left happy.

Neither does it as well as a 20 dollar Casio. I'll wear my trusty Timex, join friends Tailgating around the Vet and enjoy Fall College Football the same way that I have for 60+ years. Can't wait. The comraderie and friendship of my Trojan friends is priceless! Ah the fun. The memories, laughs, stories, food, drink, and just all around good times with friends old and new. Well worth the time and money invested in those Fall weekends. As I’ve stated many times. I’m not going to let 3 hours inside a stadium ruin a fun day with friends and family.

The lack of a true best writer has more to do with the decline of the newspaper business than it does anything to do with Troy.

If you replace the current schedule with teams like UNA, JSU, Samford, etc you will see a lot of money leave Troy.

They didn't go into specifics. From the concept images, it looks like it could be more of a "from the ground up." It could go either way, though. Funny how we all see things differently. To me, the concept drawings look like suites added down the baselines at press box level with a new brick facade enclosing the seating area, covering up the currently visible structural steel. Either way, it looks good. You are correct.

I don’t think Dr Hawkins wants to leave with the Football program in a shambles ! He has done great for Troy and I am optimistic that he will pass the baton at the end of this year after a 10 win season or he will stay on to see the firs t year of a new coach! Jack Hawkins, Jr. cares about putting his name on as many things as possible before he retires, and being described as "woke" in history books. Some accuracy there.

Well itâs less then 60 days now. We all know our head coach is as dynamic as a table top made of veneer and plain white in color. Yep not. However, as said before when one is distracted by something no matter how IT is (or Young) the non-dynamic will likely give you a non dynamic outcome. His butt is on the line. He should be less distracted. He is the one who chose this career and if it does not improve he is harming his long term professional choice. Perhaps acknowledging that he has decided to visit lakes and streams he is use to. If you remember that song? Anyway I expect his best and maybe that will get him out of here. Long term success is unlikely with someone who chooses to ignore the community as a whole. Here is to a better year and a VALUE added to (The HC we don’t speak of) that makes him have an allure to others. Go Troyâ¦..and here is to age limits on our distractions Are you kind of quoting TLC? I like it!
