I live in Clayton, Ga. About an hours drive from Clemson. There are several towns around Clemson that I would check before actually staying in the town of Clemson. The town itself is quite small. Probably smaller than Troy. Anderson, SC is right on I-85 and offers great eating venues, shopping, etc. It is 20 miles or less from the campus. Seneca, SC(about 10 miles west) is smaller than Anderson, but still few nice restaraunts. Greenville is also not that far(about 45 minutes east) and is one of my favorite cities. It of course has an airport, is right on I-85, has all the shopping and any restaraunt you would want, a zoo, a children's museum, and a great river walk through downtown.

It's a new low when you lose to Idaho. That's what happens when you show up unprepared AND you play for the tie (I don't blame Jed at all. You can't expect your kicker to make them all) at the end of the game instead of playing to win. On the bright side, at least we have cool uniforms. *Sigh* Idaho wasn't won road game in like four years until yesterday. Ou At least now if we lose to Georgia State, which is very possible this year, we won't have the honor of being the first Sunbelt team, or even worse, the first FBS team in history that they have beaten. I live close to Atlanta, and I have dreaded the day that we ever loose to that train wreck. I hope it never happens. However, now that honor goes to New Mexico State a few weeks ago and more recently Ball State.
