I think we come out a little more prepared for this one. And Duke doesn't have a world mission to beat Troy. We are at home. And hopefully Troy has fixed many of the issues.
Duke 35 Troy 28
Attendance 24,301

If Troy comes out trying to pound the rock, it won't be that close...but, IF we play Troy offense, it'll be far more respectable...and add in parts of the 2nd & 3rd qtr defense...equates to a chance.

At worst: 10-55 Duke Best: 22-17 Troy with a loud crowd and the energy level of Missouri, Oklahoma State, Navy, Duke, etc...
Attendance 26,007

I can't make a prediction until I know who is starting at QB. I feel strongly that we need to start #1. #12 has great potential, but I'm not sure if he is there...yet.
Surf Report: Minimal (ankle high or less) surf. Clean in the morning with NNW winds 5-10mph. Semi glassy conditions for the afternoon with the winds shifting WSW less than 5mph. The high will be 89 degrees and the low will be 78 degrees. Chance of rain 40%.

I predict that I'm going to have a great time among other Trojans, that I will cheer for my team until I can't talk anymore...

If we get blown out and play like we did against UAB they might put in a shot bar along with the beer sales . Hoping for a drastic turn around but Duke is a far better team than UAB

UAB may prove to be a decent team if they play teams against whom they can run and run and run and nothing happens. If they make them throw, they're in trouble!

John Wayne will score 60+ and little ol' Troy might not score at all.

Ok, I have vented a lot this morning after my 72 hour thought process, I think we lose, hope we pull the upset. Why do we lose, I think the Coaches as in the past few years, blame the defense, do not adjust the offense, and we still cannot kick off out of the end zone, so they always start with good field position. However I am hoping the humiliation has sunk into the players head and they want to do better and will. Taking a gamble here:
Duke: 35 Troy: 28 or 31
and if that is the score, that my friends for my school will be a moral win, although hate moral wins.
Allowing us to go into the next week starters get a small break, then on to Georgia, who I feel has the potential to win the SEC and compete for National Title, if Richt can ever win the big one, and his players stay out of trouble.

If we play flat like against UAB we won't beat ACU. They beat NMSU last year and only loss to GSU by one who we only beat by 7 last year.

I agree, in fact my prediction was very generous to MY UNIVERSITY. I am hoping a player/players steps up and is the leader this team needs. Beside play calling and Coaching in some areas, I think Leadership in any organization is crucial if they plan to be successful. And we are missing that. So who that/those leaders are remains to be seen. And if we play like we did against UAB, it will be just a bad if not worse. Just hoping not.

Hearing good things. Anyone else sense an upset ? Please do share. Most of the sour in my stomach from last Saturday game is over. Getting geared up to leave tonight and hoping for an upset and that my earlier prediction wrong. Not sure the good things hearing, in fact was concerned with the rain we have had here, if they even got much time in for practice. Hoping adjustments have been made where they were needed.
