The Western Kentucky football team was slung back to square one Tuesday night in a 37-20 home loss to Louisiana-Lafayette. A three-game winning streak ended as quickly and as forcefully as the visiting Ragin’ Cajuns were able to run the ball over and over against the WKU defense, and equally as quickly was the WKU offense prone to turn it over. Now, WKU (4-3 overall, 1-2 Sun Belt Conference) has 10 days to regroup and recover before hosting Troy (4-3, 2-1) on Oct. 26. “We go back to work. That’s what you do,” WKU coach Bobby Petrino said after the loss. “We’ll get in here (Wednesday), watch the video, be very critical of it, go out and run and work our young guys and then we’ll put it behind us and start preparing and getting ready for the Troy game.” ( Full Article) sFi_lance
