Not a bad get.

This may be the squirrels running around in my head, but I think since the LSU and Nebraska wins, Troy is a premier G5 get for P5 teams looking for an opponent this year. If we have an opportunity to get more home and home, I am excited to see if big names show up.

B+ on the effort.
Troy looks to lose a enormous amount of money this year playing ball. I know we are not flush with cash, so we will need to pony up.
I question flying across the country to play in an empty stadium for no financial payout. The 2026 Return home game makes it a little easier to swallow. For 2020 why not play regional teams ??

In terms of building for the future, a home game against BYU does more for our program than playing in state against Samford or other. Yeah we gotta travel out there this year and play in an empty stadium, but we did secure a TV slot on ESPN for this game. This is huge. If I could offer our AD some advice, keep going for the home and home and hit up big teams. I think the Big 12 is playing, so hit up Texas and see if they want a home and home.

Aw shucks, just a B+/ In this everchanging cauldron of a season? Folks are working severe overtime just to find a match for given weekends.

B+ only because there is a home game in the package. Although not sure we see the year 2026. The downward trajectory of the US is growing pretty quick.

I really like this game. This does more for us than a game against Arkansas Pine Bluff. I say hit up all the other big conferences looking to fill out their schedule. We used to say Anyone, Any time, Any where and we need to again.

Just turn media OFF, and go with value gut.

The amount of work that Brent and his staff have done to create a schedule that has changed 50 times is commendable. The deal for this BYU get is unbelievably fortunate for us and that’s because of how hard Brent has worked.

Out of the box thinking. Just like Ho like. I smell a home game to open the season. If the SunBelt pulls this off - if TMTDM pulls this off, it says something about our conference/school.

Several of the Southland schools have stated they plan on continuing to play even though the conference has cancelled the season. Maybe SFA or Central Arkansas could be an option.

Let's play North Dakota State. You scared them away! As soon as this post was made on TROYFANS.COM they made an announcement on Twitter followed by this tweet: "NDSU had entertained some ideas….but has decided to shut it down for the Fall."

Let's play North Dakota State. You scared them away! As soon as this post was made on TROYFANS.COM they made an announcement on Twitter followed by this tweet: "NDSU had entertained some ideas….but has decided to shut it down for the Fall." Their cases are about 100 per 100k and deaths are around 15 per 100k. Not that it is a populous state but their surge is yet to come. Due to remote nature they can trace well but only stave off the inevitable unless they can ride out about 9 months and a vaccine be available. So their decision actually is not unreasonable.
