We all like to remember the victory over LSU and we all like remind LSU of this loss. Unpopular opinion coming up next. This take by Orgeron is in no way favorable to us. Think about what he's really saying. The fact that they lost to such a team as TROY was so shocking it woke them up and showed them just where they were. In no way does this take by Orgeron, the LSU fan base, or any other entity show any respect for us and what we were able to do. They couldn't believe we beat them and losing to us "turned their season around". Thanks Ed, but no thanks for the condescending shout out to little ole TROY.

He still got his @ss kicked by an 11 win Troy team. Think about this.. I think we were robbed in 2016 against Clemson and we had a couple of WTF just happened games over 16-17 but we were one of the best teams in the country. We were truly anywhere, anytime.

Troy got some mentions from Rece Davis last night after the trophy presentation. He mentioned that Troy came into Death Valley and "handled" LSU two years ago, and that after the game, Orgeron decided to essentially do a "re-focus" of the team... and that's when everything changed.
I think it's good press, honestly. Sort of like how people remember App State for beating Michigan, maybe people will remember Troy for beating LSU, especially if LSU continues their dominance.
