Why do Central Florida and Boise State lose their coaching staff and continue to win....just asking. 10 wins season gone with this staff.

We've played FOUR games with the new staff! We haven't lost them all. We could still go 10-2. Even Boise loses a few games now and then!

Why didn't Florida Gators continue to win when Urbane Meier left?? Florida State when Jimbo Fisher left? Notre Dame when Knute Rockne left? GaTech when Bobby Dodd left?

Well it use to be, we knew we had a chance with the Power 5 teams because Coach V knew how to make adjustments. To me, losing Coach V was our greatest lost in my opinion.

Why didn't Florida Gators continue to win when Urbane Meier left?? Florida State when Jimbo Fisher left? Notre Dame when Knute Rockne left? GaTech when Bobby Dodd left? To be fair, Jimbo had FSU in a downward spiral then ditched town for another date before he could be fired or strung up by the boosters. They had a ton of problems that go beyond bad play, including the culture. We're likely going to be a training ground for newly promoted coaches for the rest of our existence. It's going to be a crap shoot of hits and misses. Some coaches are stellar anywhere with any level of resources, some have a gift for coaching recruits at this level who need polishing, others have a good technical mind but can't translate that to teaching, and then others just won't be good as anything more than a position coach. Just don't know what's going to happen until they're in the role. Vic was an exception to the rule.

Here is the problem,
Tron left because they told him they wanted him to play another position.
Murry left and was expected too go to WV in the portal and and it got out...was asked to stay; but, felt they were unloyal to him.
Dunlap academic probation.
Jones wanted out.
***This is the reason why we not in the top 25, we lost some great players.

My understanding is Tron was gone before Brown left. Again I believe most the transfers (don’t know about Murray) had nothing to do with coaches Barker was also huge loss on the d line. Best way to protect a very young defensive backfield... out QBs under pressure. We’ve gotten occasional pressure so far... but not consistently. Give even descent QB time... and skilled guys can get open.

The title of this thread is “Why we can’t continue to win?” There a good many opinions and not that many facts. So, fact: the reason we do not win is......we score less points then the guys we are playing against at the end of the game. You can quite me on that! As a matter of another fact is if we score more then Mizzou does today (yes I will be surprised) but we will win the ball game. I am pretty sure of that.

And for the record, all of a sudden - with a second year HC - UCF has TWO losses also. Jus sayin.
