Mike Turk = 48-1 in 4 years... wow. Is that what the video said? Talk about Ws. Two nattys Kelvin Simmons = led the longest unbeaten streak in school history of 17 games - while moving up a division (ie not all the scholarships available). Still stands. 2 years - really 1.5 years - as a starter. And 22-2-1 during his two seasons leading the team - y’all about Ws. Not eligible for playoffs in ‘92, between divisions... and semi finalist (only one other school has gone to semis in 1-AA/FCS inaugural year - (UCF also did it). I’m biased - played ball with Kelvin - true talent. Coached by Turk - great person. Brandon Silvers Sim Byrd Levi Omar Really enjoy watching Barker - so fun to watch! Man - we’ve been so blessed! Go Trojans! If Turk was 48-1, he’d have to have an unbeaten streak longer than 17 games

In any event - we’re blessed

Simmons would be a close 3rd. Even a tie with Brandon Silvers in my opinion. Brandon Silvers isn't remotely the qb Kelvin Simmons was.I love Turk but Kelvin is hands down the best to play here. Put him in the spread he would have put up numbers nobody would touch

Still a great record and two nat championships. Kelvin hands down had the most Ability to play here. He could do it all

The question was all time best QB, not record.... just the athlete. I was not around during Turk, Simmons, Byrd eras. Persoanlly grew up watching Omar, Levi, Corey and Brandon, each had athletic strengths/weaknesses. I only met Kelvin at a tailgate once, but have heard the stories from eyewitnesses, including those on this board. I'll defer and vote for Kelvin.

I sometimes hang with Coach Turk and some other players - we all were amazed by Kelvin. I am blessed to have been associated with both and watch all the others.
