I got the renewal notice and so I simply renewed my tickets. I’m curious though if anyone is making changes? Are any of you NEZ folks staying/leaving? I’m just interested.

We're considering moving to NEZ, which we can't do until March 1. Gonna wait and see if seats are available and if everyone in the group can swing the extra cash.

They will have to remove me from my seats, I'm never giving up my 50 yard line seats. Just completed our 16th season without missing a home game in that seat

Renewed 4 already. Same section, just slid 2 next to the other 2.

DT and family did the NEZ this past year and it was as DT's beloved HCNB would say "Ahight".
We are moving over to the home side chair backs and trying to avoid the hand sitter sections.
Pros of NEZ:
1.) Parking. For a bit of extra coin you can park 30 yards from the entrance. 2.) Less beer waiting time
Cons of NEZ:
1.) Lacks fans and excitement. 2.) Everyone stays inside the concessions area are and watches AuBarn. 3.) Food is still not great. 4.) View 5.) The concessions area becomes a Geneva County pool hall by halftime. (DT has his wilder day we all know. These are folks old enough to know better than act like trash.)

Nah. I'll keep my 50 yard line, upper deck 2nd row aisle seats. Yep. 50 yard line, bench back, under the upper deck out of the sun and rain, sitting around people I've come to know and love over the last 15 years. Bubba ain't goin' nowhere.

I'm under the deck too. Around the 40 right behind the defense bench. I was closer to the 50 once but I was at the edge of the deck and got beer spilled on me from above. I'm happy with my new seats and they are on the aisle so I can come and go whenever I want.

Bubba_the_trojan and Trojan_by_birth I have two questions if y’all could each answer them: 1) what section number and 2) do people actually cheer in that section? THANK YOU in advanced for your responses. Signed ... Tired_of_people_staring_at_me_for_cheering_at_a_football_game 🤣

I haven't done season tickets in four years because of distance and work but when I did I had Stadium Club (very disapointing), Lower level 10 yard line (couldn't see the the action when they were at the opposite end and my last season was end zone GA. Of the three I actually liked watching the game from the end zone. Maybe part of it was being an offensive lineman and I could see the line play much better but I just enjoyed the games so much better. It just boils down to what you like, the people around you and the view of the game.
As far as parking if anyone is a member of The T-Club I highly recommend for $150 a year you can park at the Armory. I did it in 2014 and it was well worth it. Easy in and out and literally steps from the stadium

As to cheering, it’s a mixed bag. Few, if any, stand and scream for 4 hours. A good number, maybe 60-70%, are really engaged and are very vocal when good things happen or when things are tense, like going for it on 4 th and 1,or trying to make a big stop. Most, probably 85%+, stand and scream when it’s all on the line. The one thing I’ve never seen, however, is people complaining about those who stand and cheer. For overall fan involvement, I’d score it 80-85, except for blowouts.

Lots of older folks that only get excited about halftime. They can be quite critical, saying things like why do they perform the same show every game etc.

For the first time in a while, I probably won't be getting season tickets in some form. Life happens.

Anyone have experience with sections 102, 104, 112, or 114 ? Either currently have season tickets in any of those four sections OR had seats in the past and moved?

I got a renewal letter that is specific to me and not an advertisement. I renewed a month ago. So I go and look at my receipt.... Check! I go look at the credit card... Check! Now to be 100% I have to call up to Troy and make sure they are aware I renewed. Based on the delivery fiasco that happened to people last season, I don't think this is un-wise. On top of that, it cost $.50 for them to mail a 2 page - 2 envelope letter uneccessarily. So let's say each mailer cost $.65. Multiply that by 15,000 season ticket holders, that is $9750. I'm sure they could find a use for that cash somewhere.

( There are 15000 season ticket holders and all but 38% renew their tickets prior to mailing out notices. So how many people ate lunch with the left over money from the 10,000 dollar mailing expenses?

I made the assumption (I KNOW, a terrible thing to do) that maybe the NEW staff in the ticket office wanted to make sure that ALL season ticket holders had all of their information updated and correct on their account. I will be interested to see what they say when you call tomorrow. Let us know please!
FYI for the math problem presented, my postage was also $0.50 way up here in the BHM area
