Great day to be a Trojan! If you were to slip on the ice on your own sidewalk, get bit by your own dog, and found out that one of your own children had a car that didn't have a Hemi in it.... You would say: "Great day to be a Trojan!"
But... yeah you are right.
Great day to be a Trojan!
When you win 31 games in 3 seasons. The best ever 3 season span in Troy football history, it is in face a Great Day to be a Trojan. You may now resume your focus on all the negative.

🤔 Well let’s see ...you got that Neal guy on offense and that Vic guy on D. I recall Hartwell recruited Neal and Neal recruited Vic? Clb was just chillin at Sisters. Oh..ok. If I recall LB hired both Vic and Neal as coordinators. Like it or not his legacy is strong and still having a great impact on this program. #fact

Vic was TROY DC the first time in 2003/2004.
Neal came as WR coach at the request of Tony Franklin in 2006 when LB hired Franklin to install the air raid offense. Neal took over OC duties when Auburn hired TF away in 2008.

See where Tyree Jackson is in the Transfer Portal. Watching him he needs another year at least but why does he think he can't get that exposure at Buffalo? Better competition to play. The dude will get an offer from somewhere but would it not be something if he did not then the coach could actually cancel his scholarship for not being loyal and still be stuck at Buffalo if he wanted to play. Interesting what is happening to college football with all the transfers particularly at quarterback and with early signing and skipping the bowl games.
Not really liking what I am seeing that much because it is only going to get worse.

With this reasoning does Earl Bruce get credit for Urban Myer's sucess or the first coach that hired Saban, Dabo, Bellichek or Kelly get credit for them winning. LB hired both but VK was gone for 11 years and NB for 5 years. Does LB get credit for Rowell and Bolt also? asking for a friend

I was simply pointing out when each was hired and under what capacity. Don't read between the lines, you'll go blind. I'm not trying to give credit to anyone nor take away credit from anyone. Tell your friend for me...

Tell your friend for me... simply stating that they were not part of LB's staff during the last 4 horrible years so they aren't carry overs like the last two players from LB this season. Hartwell hired Neal, Neal hired VK and the latter being the best decision that NB will probably ever make.

My point was simple. I’m a big LB fan despite a rough few years at the end. I’m also a big NB fan! I just think it’s cool seeing two people he helped bring into our program back at Troy and having success! Nothing more nothing less. Go Trojans!

Both were about as knowledgable and competent at stopping offenses as I was looking at my daughters organic chemistry book from Troy...clueless!!

I thought Bolt was our DC when DeMarcus Ware was playing? He was. He was the architect of the Ware led defense that helped beat MS State 17-9. I bought the "Dead Bolt Defense" game day shirt from that contest and wore it until my wife was able (after multiple attempts) to throw it away. That was a sad looking shirt by the time it departed. It had more oil and grease in it than does my car.

There was a lengthy delay, I've forgotten how long, due to a tornado warning. The twister was radar detected about 5 miles from the stadium, if memory serves me. There was so much rain, once the game resumed, the field was covered in standing water. One of my favorite images from that game was an end zone shot of a TROY player (Jonathon Carter?) running for a TD. He was splashing so much water, it looked like rooster tails. That was a fun day.

I thought Bolt was our DC when DeMarcus Ware was playing? [br He was but the modern spread offenses passed him by and our defenses had no fundamentals. VK when he took over literally said our players had no tackling fundementals at all.
