Rickey Samuel has signed, not sure why it's not updated. I don't think we've ever had a class this solid.... and still have 5-7 more that will sign

Based on what the coaches stated in the noon review and looking at who we have already signed, I would HOPE for either Perry (announcing at 6 pm) or Steward.

Awesome! Having both Ricky Samuel and Will Choloh play as our future DT starters - can’t wait. An embarrassment of riches...let's add Desmond Barkley to that list as well...

Did Perry announce where he is going to play? I have looked and researched but found nothing. Also, what about Tacorey Turner, Adarius Toliver and Jaden Kent? On 247 they are listed as "committed" but no LOI signed. I am wondering if they haven't qualified or still need ACT/SAT scores that meet the requirement, but didn't think that would stop kids from signing the LOI. If, by the time school starts (acceptance deadline for admissions) they qualify, they would then come to school. Somebody/anybody got info on these kids?

I am wondering if this is going to be a situation where a student-athlete waited too long to make a decision and the team he was interested in moved on. IF so, I feel sorry for any of them, but it is a lesson in life. As for Perry, 6 pm came and went without any announcement. He did make one tweet after 6 pm that stated, "Them losses still weighing on me". Other than that I could only find comments about him still tweeting with some Hawaii fans and that Utah State offered him yesterday morning. Basically three fan bases puzzled by the lack of a decision!

Adarius Tolliver has decommited. Will probably sign with FAU. Very likely he saw the writing on the wall with Troy signing three OL yesterday. Moore has stated we didn't need a lot of bodies this cycle, which indicated we are probably full up on OL.

Barker will Probably Red-Shirt next season. What I hope we get is a legitimate QB battle in the Spring if Free And Screws both are here in Jan and we see them against Smith and Watson. We really need to improve the passing game and if a true freshman or transfer can get it done they need to be given the keys. If Smith or Watson is the best then they deserve the keys. I really hope we get a battle and no politics involved. Shaping up to be an exciting 2019.

Big 6'5 290 OT here, #3 tackle in the country. Been committed to Miami for over a year. Mullen and UF got real aggressive last month and flipped him yesterday. Never know what can happen

Not sure about Jacob Free but I think Sawyer Smith is more mobile and he has more experience playing in this offense now. If Barker won't be back next season then S.Smith will be our starter for the next two years (barring any injuries). I think he could be a Brandon Silvers type of QB for us. Pretty solid and capable of beating future opponents like S.Miss, Missouri and NC State. Not sure if we can go 13-0 with him though (or any of our QBs for that matter). Even with this talented team and coaches it would probably take a QB like Omar Haugabook (fully healthy and with 3-4-years of starting experience) to go 13-0, IMO.

True Freshman QB's have started at other programs very successfully (UCF and Clemson to name two recent ones. Our offense isn't any more complicated than any other program. I don't agree that you necessarily need 1-3 years to learn the offense. I just want to see the best qb start and not just because he has been here three years. I trust they make the right call.

I feel sorry for eighteen year olds attempting to make life decisions with limited support! Think this is another example of not being able to step back and "see the forest for the trees". Compare the current rosters of FAU & Troy ... with our THREE signees from Wednesday ... the numbers are the exact same! FAU 8 on Roster, NO commits and Troy 5 on Roster, 3 commits. Where do YOU think a freshman would have the easiest road to playing time?

He was on his way to a special season once he dialed it in.

This is the reason Minshaw hauled @ss.

WE KNOW Kiffen will say anything (and everything) to anybody. What does an 18 year-old know?? Based on what I have seen every day of my life (I WILL retire one day) since I was their age, 17 and 18 year old students know less and less each year! It is a sad truth and what DedicatedTrojan stated above is a definite! Don't laugh, just wait and see

He was on his way to a special season once he dialed it in. Depends on the knee and rehab. He will be out Spring so no reps. They still can redshirt him also. Some guys bounce back from knees, others lose a step. As someone who had knee surgery I wish him a successful rehab and recovery. Hoping for the best

It is amazing the advances they have made in knee surgeries and recovery times. Tore my MCL in 1985. Had a cast from hip to ankle for 9 weeks and then crutches for three more weeks after that before they could start rehab. Was 7 months before I could even run on it. 1988 my roommate had the same injury and he was rehabbing the next week. In three years they advanced that far. Talking to my orthopedic surgeon who did my shoulder two years ago he told me what they do for MCL tears now?? Nothing. They learned they will reattach on their own with time. And the Dr who discovered this was the same one who did my surgery in 1985 lol. Speedy recovery Kaleb.

Notice Tolliver was "back on market" ... could still get him I guess. Did notice a tweet from Turner this morning ... seemed to indicate he's still on board. So, hopefully we still get him in Feb. Haven't seen anything on Kent. Still shows as Troy commit on twitter. This guy seems to have a bit of "freakish" ability for his size too. Noticed he was state high jump champ ... now, don't know how high he had to go ... but watching his vid ... it'a apparent he has some ups!
